Modern power meters require the entry of a PIN using a flashlight. To input the different digits in the form of blinking signals, one must enter them in a kind of Morse code. One blink corresponds to one, two blinks to two, and so on. This can be very tedious and time-consuming, and mistakes can easily happen due to the need for precise timing.
FlashMyPin is the solution: Instead of manually inputting individual blinking signals using a flashlight, you only need to type in your PIN and the flash on your phone’s camera blinks in the correct pattern. Kann man sich sparen. Idee ist grundsätzlich gut. Die Umsetzung so nicht zu gebrauchen.

Die PIN zu „blitzen“ geht natürlich grundsätzlich mit der App, nur nicht automatisiert da der Abgleich zur Realität fehlt. Und der Zähler einfach irgendwas macht. 

Hier könnte deutlich benutzerfreundlicher vorgegangen werden und zum Beispiel die Displays der Zähler virtuell, respektive als AR nachgebildet werden um dem Nutzer ein Verständnis der Funktionalitäten zu geben. Wenn man ohnehin schon den Blitz auf den Zähler richtet kann die App ja auch per Kamera erkennen was eigentlich vor sich geht!

Das reine PIN „blitzen“ rechtfertig den Preis IMHO gar nicht. Als „free“ Feature ok. Ich wäre dann bereit 2,99 EUR für meine Zähler-spezifische „Blitzanleitung“ zu zahlen.

Funktioniert nicht mit Stromzählern von eBZ! Ein entsprechender Hinweis hätte mir die € 2,99 gespart. Ob es bei anderen Herstellern klappt kann ich nicht sagen. Daher noch zwei Sterne.
