### 3/5 — Account won’t load

*2026-07-23, version 4.4*

My acct freezes up or denies access periodically I have had to call and get it fixed Really annoyed especially if you are ready to cook I may try to find another option soon

### 3/5 — Love hate relationship

*2026-07-19, version 4.4*

I overall love the app, but I find it extremely frustrating how how often it can’t save a recipe unless I close down the app and restart it or try multiple times.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2026-07-06*

I love the simplicity of this app and its ability to bring in recipes from all social media. I would love the ability to free type in the planner section. Some things I cook I don’t need a recipe for but you can’t add something to the day without having a recipe. I have the subscription and have been using for a while now but considering a different app. I need something that checks all the boxes.

### 3/5 — Best for Spanish recipes

*2026-07-02, version 4.3*

Ive tested all the biggest apps for recipe savings as I wanted to try out my Spanish dishes that I saved months ago, and since it is in Spanish, I had difficulty getting even the ingredients list with other apps. This one did an amazing iob, even separated the meat ingredients from the sauce ingredients, while other apps couldnt even get simple ingredients rights. Great job! The only thing I miss is more allowance for saving recipes from socials.

### 2/5 — Sharing from social media

*2026-06-19, version 4.2.1*

I cannot paste from social media and the Flavorish “share” button has Ben added, but does NOTHING.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2026-05-20, version 3.6.2*

One of the better recipe apps out there

### 3/5 — Lacks multiple photo capability

*2026-05-15, version 3.6.2*

Your AI tool for photo to text is wonderful but we need to be able to upload more than one photo per recipe! This is especially pertinent to recipes that span more than one page as I can’t include the entire recipe in just one photo and so can’t upload these recipes into the app. Recipe Keeper wins out for this one reason alone.

### 1/5 — Lame they only let you save 5 recipes from social media on the premium version

*2026-04-11, version 3.6.2*

As described in the title…

### 2/5 — No nutritional update after serving change

*2026-03-28, version 3.6.2*

The app does very well pulling in recipes from photos.
I got the app to check nutrition information from my current app. What I found was the nutritional information is calculated as one serving for the entire recipe. When I change the serving amount the information stays the same.
I can divide the information by the number of servings. But it doesn’t seem like a reach to depend on the app to calculate it per serving.

### 1/5 — It stopped working

*2026-03-22, version 3.6.2*

I was able to create a few recipes without a problem but now the recipes do not show the nutritional info which is what I need

### 3/5 — Don’t waste your money

*2026-03-20, version 3.6.2*

Worked until I paid for the subscription, now nothing works anymore…so I received a note from Flavorish suggesting I reinstall the app and this did work, currently the app is working again. Thanks for the tip, apparently it is a common issue.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money

*2026-03-15, version 3.6.2*

Worked until I paid for the subscription, now nothing works anymore

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Deceptive

*2026-08-12, version 4.6*

Thought this was a free app- now I am being asked for money for a subscription. Boo hiss!

### 1/5 — I hate subscription

*2026-06-27, version 4.3*

I love this app! It really works well and is quite accurate with the AI modes and for copying recipes down (both in French and in English. Really does what I want and need it to.

However, I really hate the fact that it’s 70$ a year subscription. In fact, I hate all apps that have subscriptions. There was a time that you paid one price, the app was yours forever. Now, you only ever rent apps, continuously feesing the corporate greed. Annoying af… for that reason, you get 1 star.

### 1/5 — Bait and switch

*2026-06-15, version 4.2.1*

Decent idea. But then they start to nickel and dime you

### 1/5 — Don’t sign up

*2026-06-09, version 4.1*

I signed up and saved ~15 recipes. Loved the app. Then they required me to re-sign in and all my recipes were gone. Don’t waste your time!!

### 1/5 — Review

*2026-06-07, version 4.1*

Sucks. It worked well for a while then I lost all my recipes

### 1/5 — My recipes are gone

*2026-06-03, version 4.1*

I have been using this app and paying monthly for it . I had over 30 recipes saved and now they are gone. Where are they?

### 1/5 — Alters recipes or incomplete

*2026-05-30, version 4.0.1*

I’ve had several recipes with ingredients listed and stroked out & grayed out as if the author has changed the recipe BUT if after a few fails I have gone back to the original recipe and the flavor ish app has changed the recipe. Makes the downloaded recipes useless as they are untrustworthy. No one wants to use a recipe that is iffy or potentially wrong. What’s up with that flavorish developers?

### 1/5 — False advertising

*2026-05-16, version 3.6.2*

Website says unlimited web site imports in the free tier but that doesn’t include insta or TikTok or anything else that they count as social media. 50 bucks a year to use then. And what happens to those is I stop the subscription?

### 1/5 — Would have given it a good rating if I could just buy it once instead of paying $5 a month

*2026-05-16*

Who else is beyond tired of the every single little thing is now a subscription model? 🙋me! If you got tricked by the adds stop right there! You can’t really access any of the core features of this app without paying a monthly subscription of 5 dollars a month and you can’t just pay some amount and own it, not possible. It’s only free function is to save recipes from websites and without the saving from instagram function that was being advertised, you can use one of the many other, better free apps available for that. I don’t feel like having another monthly bill for something like saving recipes. So for that reason, it’s a no from me. Very disappointing 👎

**Developer response:** Hi Yourmom711, thanks for sharing your feedback. We completely understand subscription fatigue, and we know its not the right fit for everyone. Flavorish is fully user-supported, which allows us to offer an ad-free experience even on the free tier, protect user privacy, never sell user data, and continue building and improving the app.
Our premium features are also expensive to build, maintain, and run, so we let everyone try them first with 5 uploads (for each premium feature) before deciding whether upgrading for unlimited use feels worthwhile. Because these features require ongoing development and infrastructure, a one-time payment model isn’t sustainable for us.
We truly appreciate you giving Flavorish a try, and we’ll take your feedback into account as we continue improving both the product and how we communicate its value. We understand if Flavorish isn’t the right fit for you right now, but we’re grateful you gave it a shot and took the time to share your thoughts. If you have any questions or decide to give us another try, feel free to reach out anytime at hello@flavorish.ai. Happy cooking :)

### 1/5 — Not free

*2026-04-22, version 3.6.2*

Can only import 5 recipes from social media

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2026-07-26, version 4.4*

I love, love, love this! Flavorish is the answer to saving all the recipes I find on line and on social media. So simple to do! I wish I had found it before now, but I’m certainly taking advantage of it now!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-07-05, version 4.3*

I love this app. It’s great to organize the Instagram reels I like and have it create the ingredients and recipe. I do wish it had a way to rate recipes you’ve tried.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-06-10, version 4.2*

Moved over from Recipe Keeper once I saw there’s no limit on how many recipes you can save in Flavorish.

Was HUGELY impressed with the ability to easily import all my recipes from that app to this one - it was probably the single biggest factor in me switching.

My only gripes since I’ve started using it:

- The lack of default categorisation. It’s a bit of a hassle adding a new recipe then manually adding it to all my created collections (e.g. Pasta + Chicken + Main Course)

- The inability to rate your recipes (a simple star system would do!)

- The UI, while nicely designed, is a bit of an eyesore for me on the main screens. The tiles feel too large and I have to do too much scrolling - I’d appreciate it if it were scalable and I could see more tiles at once.

Other than that, this feels like the recipe app for me. Love the ability to convert units, too - no one knows how much a “cup” is, Americans!

### 5/5 — Best recipe app out there

*2026-05-08, version 3.6.2*

I love how intuitive the design and it’s so easy to import recipes in a bunch of ways! It does stop you from being able to use the features a bunch of times without paying. But other parts of the app remain free. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2026-04-14, version 3.6.2*

Exactly what I was looking for! All my recipes in one place 🙌🏼

### 5/5 — 5 stars

*2026-03-28, version 3.6.2*

Extremely organized and easy to use

### 5/5 — Whoever made this is a saint!

*2026-03-16*

Only just started using this but I am beyond happy. A recipe organizer that syncs among multiple devices, easy downloads from links/media, and has a free option and the premium option isn’t ridiculously priced.

Not to mention to UI is intuitive and looks nice. I’ve been trying to find a recipe keeper that I can share with my sister who can’t afford the premium ones. Ended up making a mistake and bought one once but it immediately broke the promise of multiple devices by not even allowing to access the account that already paid until the new device pays, absolutely bs.

So happy with the one so far. Hopefully it never changes to be profit driven.

**Developer response:** Hey EleanorasPB, reading this absolutely made our day, thank you for such a thoughtful review. We built Flavorish to stay accessible, affordable, and easy to share across devices, so it means a lot to hear it’s working well for you and your sister. We don’t have any login or device restrictions, and we plan to keep it that way.
We’re a small, user‑supported team, and keeping the app fair, privacy‑respecting, and not profit‑driven is really important to us. Feedback like yours helps us stay focused on that. If you ever have ideas or features you’d love to see, we’d be so happy to hear from you at hello@flavorish.ai.
Happy cooking 💛

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-03-07, version 3.6*

I always wrote things done watched the videos 600 times to get the stuff and then I’d end up losing the paper I wrote it down on and have to do it all again whenever I wanted to make it again. Now I just look it up in the app. So easy!!!

### 5/5 — I LOVE THIS APP

*2026-03-04*

I had been looking for a free app like this for a long time, but all of them came with the gotcha that after downloading a few recipes, a subscription was required. And then I stumbled upon Flavorish! It’s true that the free version is limited to five social media downloads, but there is no limit to the number of recipes that can be uploaded from blogs, websites, etc. So even with social media posts, if there is a link to the recipe, that can be used to upload the recipe. Thank you, developers!

**Developer response:** Hey tynlynne1, reading this truly made our day, thank you for such a thoughtful review and for explaining how the free plan works so clearly!
You’re exactly right: the free version is limited to 5 social media recipe imports as this is an expensive feature to run, maintain and build. But there’s no limit on recipes saved from blogs, websites, and other links. Even for social posts, if there’s a website link to the full recipe, you can use that to upload it to Flavorish without any storage restrictions. We’re really glad Flavorish has been a good fit for you after your search, and we deeply appreciate you choosing to use and support our app. If you ever have ideas, questions, or feedback, feel free to reach out anytime at hello@flavorish.ai. Happy cooking 💛

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2026-02-22, version 3.6*

Love the app and all the updates, is there an easier way to create a grocery list out of the meal planner?
