None of the puzzles felt hamfisted and brainless— or so insanely left field that im spending more time reading walkthroughs than playing. I have the pamphlet I talked to the guy with the wine, but I have no idea what to do to progress and actually get the pills. It’s a bit frustrating when I know what I need to solve the puzzle and yet I can not progress. Would love an actual video walkthrough but it doesn’t exist on the net. **Developer response:** Sorry to be so long in responding (we never got a notification on your review). For this one, you need to talk to the mayor about the pamphlet, not the wine guy. You also have to be sure you've tapped the empty bottle in the mayor's compartment. Hope this helps. If you're still having trouble, you can post a question on the hints page of our website and we can reply much quicker there. ### 5/5 — Really good *2021-12-31* Great overall, loved the effort in the smaller details like the commentary on useless objects was funny/witty etc. One complaint is that occasionally with clues I wasn’t sure it was hinted at in game? (Want to talk about specifics, but don’t want to give away spoilers more! Maybe one that doesn’t spoil is the Dyce one, but I did get there in the end with it so hey ho lol) Overall if you do get a bit stuck and feel you’ve tried everything, best thing to do is go to the help page and there’s really well laid out hints. So yup, really fun, liked the small animations and humour, really enjoyed this 👍 ### 4/5 — Good *2021-12-15* Great game but slightly confusing around when you’re in the corridor after speaking to the sheriff. Usually I'm turned off by titles with cartoon-like illustrations but the clever urbane humor hooked me right away. Also the first time I've played a "solve-the-crime" adventure where the suspects are questioned. I honestly did not see the end coming as it did. My only complaint is having to constantly scroll back through the inventory to get the conversation tool. Oh, and a little trick you might appreciate should you decide to try some of our other adventure games. If you want to speak to a character, try tapping them first (the same way you would to get a narrative comment). The inventory will open (if it isn't already) and scroll over to the talk icon to save you all that tapping. You know it’s bad when you use a walkthrough and it still doesn’t make sense. Only way to finish this game is to use a walkthrough. That’s not fun. At first I gave this game 2 stars, but after a few more totally random, and illogical puzzles, I took a star away. This game is terrible. ### 1/5 — No hints if you’re stuck *2022-10-04* I feel really dumb like I must be missing something easy. I’ve spoken to the mayor, put the items on him, checked the corridors and the sleeping guard it feels like everything is a dead end and I can’t move on because there’s no hints or anything in the game. There is a link to it on the help screen. ### 1/5 — Terrible mechanics *2022-09-15* I immediately hated the game as there is no tutorial to explain how the mechanics work and they are not like a normal game. Yu have to click in weird areas to move the screen to a different area and when you are speaking to people you have to drag and drop items. It feels very random and not well thought out. ### 2/5 — Don’t play. Waste of time. *2022-04-29* I’ve played my fair share of point click story puzzles and this was by far the worst one. I downloaded this game for the unique animation style which is usually a good sign for a decent game, but all the puzzles were extremely convoluted, unrelated, and almost impossible to solve. Seems like only the creator would be able to solve these puzzles and they didn't test it out at all. I had to use the hint page from start to finish and not for the hints, for the answers. The hints always told me clues I obviously knew already by just playing the game and just were overall not helpful at all. The dialogue was a little fun and the characters had some personality but the dialogue wasn’t used to it’s full potential. It was so unimportant that this game could’ve even been done without it. For a better example of a similar but good mystery game, maybe look to Tangle Tower.A game where dialogue and clues are intertwined with hints in the dialogue but work well enough for someone to piece together the puzzle without ever needing the answers given to them. I’d give two stars for the art style and concept but it was pretty hard to sit through the game and I knew the culprit as soon as I met him. Very glad this was free so I could see how it is and didn't waste my money on any other of the games made by this company. ### 3/5 — Witty with great art, but not for me *2023-02-13* I loved the art, characters and dialogue, but the puzzles were too difficult for me. The hint page got me to a certain point, but in several situations, it wasn’t clear to me how to move forward and I had to email the creators for help. (They email back quickly.) Maybe the hint page should be more in-depth? I didn’t wanna bug them anymore, so I finally just deleted the game. Not a great game for me, but someone who loves puzzles would enjoy that aspect. ### 3/5 — It was ok *2022-05-24* I found it ok. It was impossible to know how to manoeuvre around the game without trial and error I repeatedly had no clue what to do so didn’t enjoy it as much as could have I also think a separate talk button is needed as frustrating going into inventory to do that ### 3/5 — Puzzler *2022-02-10* Nice game but the puzzles were too esoteric for me. Wasn’t so clear where to click to move around exactly. ### 4/5 — Entertaining but very short *2025-06-29* I purchased this as part of the Half-Price Caper Bundle, which includes 4 point and click games from this developer. Gameplay is less than an hour and I would be upset if I had bought this on its own. I’ve got all of it on besides for one piece. It says “Talk to Dr.dominick” Who is Dr.dominick?!?? am I missing somthing?? I talked to the mayor,he’s no help, you can talk to the kids,the tall man is no help,the other guy is drugged,and the bartender and lady are no help. Besides for this, Its a great game! The animation style is so unique, the story was captivating and I loved how witty the characters are. I keep returning with the hope of another game as I’ve played them all and nothing on iOS is better, I adore everything about them from the story to the layout and dialogue but most of all the genius puzzles, so clever. **Developer response:** Thanks so much! I'm surprised at some of the other reviews, as the puzzles were great fun and not too difficult at all. If you do get stuck, the hints system is excellent. I enjoyed the quirky mood and the illustrations. Puzzles are logic and enjoyable. A few bugs on my old Ipad but in general a little gem of fun. ### 5/5 — Fun game. Logical puzzles. *2022-09-13* Cool style for a fun point and click mystery game. The puzzles are all logical and tricky but not too difficult with thought. The answers are all within the game. It took me 3 days to beat the game. ### 5/5 — Good game *2022-09-03* I love point and click games and detective games so I was very happy when I found this game. I wish we could have more in depth conversations with the other characters but that’s okay. I really liked how the Dev set up the hint page. I recommend this to anyone who has been looking for a fun point and click game. One suggestion though, the controls to try to get Crome play to place are kind of wonky, if you could add arrows to the next room like when trying to get to the bar, that would be very helpful. This game was really fun and I wish I could play more by the developer but I’m a kid and don’t have any money. Could you guys make F2P versions of your other games?
