Swipe to get rid of the last word is very useful, the ability to search a YouTube video from it and just enter in a link is handy (along with other apps available directly from it) even the cursor gesture works better than my stock keyboard. The primary dealbreaker for me is the fact that it doesn't have swipe typing and somewhat limited extensions. This would be the perfect keyboard for me, but not having swipe to type is just a step behind and I use it too often to do without it. Having an open store for extensions (if that's even possible) would also be a welcome addition. It'd be great to also have haptic feedback, I'm surprised that this isn't an option here either. Would definitely come back to this and rate it a full five stars if those things ever gets added. ### 2/5 — Always with updates *2025-04-24* When i first installed this some years ago, you guys had it going on, I dont know what it is with you developers of any apps where the first one is almost decent everytime, and then you developers of any apps, update said app(s) and functionality or features get worse or somethings missing entirely, The preview for the diffirent backgrounds dont show up unless you close the app, The ui of the settings is ugly, It used tp be way cooler looking, and I miss the sounds, I go in that app and look, Its locked why would sounds be locked, " Oh here we go! enable full access, did that still Locked.... Listen get yourselves together ### 3/5 — Please make it a bit better. *2025-02-20, version 9.24* I really like this keyboard, but it's lacking basic features that make it feel like I can't fully replace my og apple keyboard. I would love haptic feedback. Better word prediction. The ability to type in two languages at the same time. (it kind of works if you have the keyboard set to another language and then type in English, but why not the inverse?) Swiping to type, I miss it and is extremely useful in one handed mode. Recently it randomly does not work on webpages and will revert to the default ios keyboard. I think it night be a security thing. Mostly it works great, just seems maybe there are a few minor details to work out on both iOS 18 and the iPhone 16's. I have persevered through these bugs for years, hopeful that one day they’ll be resolved, but recent communications from the developers have shown that they do not care for their users, but only money. Seems to have been abandoned sadly. ### 1/5 — Mostly abandoned *2024-03-05, version 9.24* This got bought a while back and the new devs are unable to fix longstanding bugs. The keyboard constantly freezes requiring the active app to be quiet and reopened; editing existing text results in the text buffer freaking out and any edit causes the keyboard to replace the text with gibberish. I'm convinced none of the people who worked on this in the last 5 to 7 years have any idea how the keyboard code works because they haven't fixed any major bugs; all they've done is add themes that cost money. After a full ten years using this (starting with the original Android keyboard, before the iOS one even launched), I'm out. Imagine being so bad at this you can't figure out something as simple as editing text that's already there after the better part of the decade. In that same time I became a designer, reached C-level, got bored, became a product manager, got bored, went back to design, and ultimately switched to dev and became a senior engineer making enough to buy a house. Cannot remove unwanted dictionary entries, because they got automatically added even though I have that setting disabled, swiping to forget them is broken, and the dictionary page in Fleksy settings is broken, covering the settings up with instructions to enable full access, which is already enabled.
