Die fertigen Kartendecks sind dafür sehr nützlich. Auch das anlegen eigener Karten funktioniert (insbesondere mit dem add-on zur KI unterstützen Beschreibung und Bild-Erzeugung) sehr einfach. Was ich mir noch wünschen würde, wäre einerseits die (optionale) Möglichkeit, die angefragten Wörter eingeben zu können anstelle des bloßen antippens um die Schreibweise besser verinnerlichen zu können. Andererseits würde ich die App auch gerne nutzen um deutsche Begriffe oder Übungen, die ich auf Karteikarten schreiben würde ebenfalls abfragen zu können. Leider geht das heute noch nicht sinnvoll, da man nicht von deutsch nach deutsch „übersetzen“ kann. Trotz der zwei nicht erfüllten Wünsche bin ich doch sehr zufrieden mit der App. **Hinweis**: Ich habe die Premium Lifetime Version kostenlos erhalten. ### 5/5 — Не работает ! Regarding Pinyin — the same suggestion algorithm is currently used for all languages, but I plan to improve this in a future update. ### 5/5 — Great app *2025-08-06* It is a great app for learning new vocabulary and remember them all. The performance of the app is smooth and the app itself is well designed. When adding the new word, under AI suggestion for Chinese language, only some words have Pinyin, most of the others do not have pinyin (would be great if all words have to pinyin). And for the setting for the deck, choosing level can not be used together with AI suggestion, it seems AI generated words higher or lower than the level i choose. On top of numerous problems and bugs, the developer completely ignores user feedback. It quickly becomes clear that the app was rushed together with minimal effort just to make quick money. I am warning potential buyers to think very carefully before purchasing an app that contains many bugs and shows such disregard for users. The app does not allow selecting a target language, and the AI generates examples in only one language. Image generation is completely disconnected from the generated examples. You cannot choose multiple translation options for a word, only a single one, and after selecting it, you generate examples. For instance, the example may describe a ship sailing at sea, but when you generate an image, you get a dog sitting in a tree. There is no logical connection between the text and the image. Overall, this is a chaotic product with poor implementation and an unresponsive developer. ——— Esta aplicación tenía una buena idea, pero la implementación es terrible. La aplicación no permite elegir el idioma objetivo, y la inteligencia artificial genera ejemplos solo en un idioma. La generación de imágenes está totalmente desconectada de los ejemplos generados. No se pueden elegir varias opciones de traducción para una palabra, solo una, y después de seleccionarla se generan los ejemplos. Por ejemplo, el texto puede describir un barco navegando por el mar, pero al generar la imagen aparece un perro sentado en un árbol. No existe ninguna relación lógica entre el texto y la imagen. There are many card datasets available but can't be used in this app without paying. Found this app on Reddit with the creator saying everything is for free, only to find out in the app that is not correct. 🫤 **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, and I’m really sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. To clarify, importing from a CSV file is completely free. The ability to import decks from services like Anki or Quizlet is part of a premium feature, which wasn’t mentioned in my Reddit post — my apologies for not making that clearer. That said, I hope you’ll consider giving Flexi another try: you can start a 2-week free trial to import any decks you need from Anki or Quizlet. You can even cancel the subscription immediately to avoid being charged after the trial period. Sehr mühsam und ohne Sinn. Da hat man gar keine Lust so zu lernen. ### 2/5 — Dysfonctionnement de plusieurs fonctions et de bug dans l’application *2025-12-10, version 2.12.2* Interesting app. Unfortunately, you can't change the number of words per day; it's a persistent bug. Once you've created a word list, you can't create another one—someone will have to explain that concept to me. Charging people a subscription when the app is riddled with malfunctions and bugs is a bit cheeky, to say the least. The copy function in the package does not work either. Application intéressante. Malheureusement on peut pas modifier le nombre de mots par jour, bug permanent. Une fois 1 liste de mots à prendre, on ne peut pas la refaire, il faudra m’expliquer le concept. Faire payer un abonnement les gens alors que l’application est remplis de dysfonctionnement et remplie de bug. Je trouve ça un petit peu culotté tout de même. La fonction copier dans le paquet ne fonctionne pas non plus ### 2/5 — Verstehe nicht den Lernansatz *2025-08-24, version 2.9.2* Man kann lediglich im Kopf die Vokabel halten, aber nicht in die App eingeben. Das selbe funktioniert klassisch auch mit einer Papierkarte ist aber glaube ich nicht mehr richtig zeitgemäß ### 3/5 — No option for custom learning sets *2025-03-15, version 1.9.0* This is a good enough looking app, neat, modern. But it has multiple flaws: first of all it should allow for multiple mother tongues, it’s visible it wasn’t designed with language learners in mind at all despite what it says (that it’s about language learning) and that its author isn’t neither bilingual nor a polyglot nor has attempted to learn one language while speaking more than one. There is no custom study sets and you can’t revise outside hours, so to speak, which is ridiculous: I should be able to set my own study pace however I please and if I want to study outside of the set pace it should be possible to prompt the app to start the exercise. I will likely be uninstalling this app simply because while it’s clearly well put together, it actually doesn’t even understand its target audience. Please design something that has the people you want to download your app actually kept in mind. Really hoping the dev keeps this momentum going and drops even more cool stuff. But I do have one suggestion: give us more flexibility with languages. The current list is kinda limited, and since iPhones already have built-in voices, why not let us manually add words outside the default options? Especially in the translation section ,users could add their own definitions. That would totally remove the barrier that's probably stopping a lot of people from subscribing. Plus, flashcards could be used for everything - math, physics, chem, or even bio stuff that needs images. So yeah, please add more customization options.
