Right off the bat they demand $9 a WEEK!! Yes a week, not a month. No free trial, no nothing. She then used a template that she wanted to edit and got promoted to go to a website; the app doesn’t do that. We go to the website and login. She creates a few things and when she tries to put it all together suddenly they demand you to pay $20 bucks to upgrade to pro. What a rip off!! Asking for a $30 and you haven’t even made one video. As far as I can tell this is one of those apps with FAKE REVIEWS and will soon be red flagged by Apple as a scam. **Developer response:** We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this must feel. We’re always happy to help! ### 1/5 — SCAM!! *2026-02-08, version 1.8.0* Not for AI VIDEO! Their website link says “Download FlexClip”, but it takes you to FlexPix. Apple will not refund! Also, this app doesn’t come close to doing what it claims. You get about 80 “$” at the beginning. even if the video is bad and does not meet your needs, you have to pay. You don’t get more $ so it’s useless. It cost me 13$ to get 1 good video of 5 seconds. Do not buy! ### 1/5 — I paid but they want more money *2025-12-12* I purchased the $8.99 1-week renewable subscription. After I used it a few minutes, it stopped working, requiring that I ‘upgrade’ to the $49.99 annual subscription to generate any new photos. Confused *2026-01-25, version 1.7.0* An amazing app to begin with in terms of text to image and to video. But has been buggy. I can log into my pro account - but in but in the app it doesn’t show that I have a pro account and none of my work appears. There are other bugs on ipad - including missing keyboard prompt to fill in certain information on windows eg login. Also it requires Chrome for vid editing so I downloaded chrome but the app doesn’t appear to see it on my ipad.
