It has more managing features (by far) than the actual Flickr app. And the controls and layout are intuitive and easy to understand. I highly recommend it! It would be even better if the photos would load faster. When I scroll through photos, there are no images unless I stop and wait for them to populate onto the screen. I don't have this problem with other apps, so I don't think the issue is with my phone or coverage. Otherwise, it's a great app and I will definitely continue to use it and recommend it to others. ### 4/5 — Great for 3rd party *2014-01-31, version 2.38* It seems that yahoo has been making some server side changes that at times make it impossible to log into Flickr with this app, but is working fine at the moment. Could use a bit more form, but usually functions just fine. I have carried a camera longer than I have carried a gun. (military.... ex soldier) in fact I'm more comfortable with the camera. I have and still shoot film,that makes me a purist. My preferred medium is medium format. I develope my own film and scan and upload to flicker. I also draw inspiration from the countless other photographers who upload photo's I spend alot of time on Flickr. This app does is perfectly. The developer has also gotten better at responding to issues. I had an issue recently and he responded next day with solution! Well done! Updates are frequent as well! I actually prefer to browse Flickr on my iPhone 5 rather than my laptop due to clarity. Now I can’t log into my account on Flickr. Flickr app says it’s the developers issue to fix. Oops! Flickr doesn't recognise the "oauth token" this application is trying to use. An external application has requested your login credentials and permission to perform certain actions on your behalf, but has failed to include all the required data. You don't really need to know what this means, except that you can't use the application until this problem is fixed. (It's a third-party problem, not a Flickr problem.) There are lots of applications using the Flickr API. If you are curious about this, visit the Flickr Services page to see more examples of cool stuff. Otherwise, you might like to head to your home page... What's going on here? Flickr encourages other developers to build cool tools for you to play with, but you must authorize these third parties to access your account. ### 1/5 — ~. , .- *2021-03-06, version 3.19* FIX THIS F’N app or hang up the Dev code book already. 😡 ### 1/5 — Used to be great, now gives an error when you try to log into Flickr *2020-04-15, version 3.19* So, up until recently, this was my favorite app for viewing my Flickr account on iOS devices. Way better than the official app. I’d have given it five stars. Unfortunately, now when I try to log into Flickr with the app on my new iPad, I get an error message back saying “Oops! Flickr doesn’t recognize the oauth_token this application is trying to use.” This has happened repeatedly over multiple attempts over multiple weeks, so unfortunately I have to assume that this isn’t just a short-term error. I tried emailing the author of the app to report the issue, but I got no response and it still hasn’t been fixed over several weeks. If the author ever chooses to fix the error, I’ll update this back to a five-star review. In the meantime, though, I’d recommend that any new users avoid buying it. ### 1/5 — Almost useless *2020-02-02, version 3.19* This app needs work! Does not save, even though it tells you it is saving them. Safe/restricted search effectively censors content by limiting # of items retrieved. Even in paid version of app. ### 3/5 — Inaccurate photo count information *2016-12-09, version 3.16* Flickr site on my desktop computer shows that I have 80+ more photos than the app says I have. An excellent alternative to the standard Flickr site. It is confusingly organized and so there is a definite learning curve. I bought the package consisting of 'manager' and 'photo explorer'. It's difficult finding your way. I find myself going back and forth between the 2 Apps as I try to find the function I want, such as personal vs user vs all photos etc. I am used to the Flickr updates of my contact photos which is not easily found. You have to open Flickr manager and go to 'contact updates'. Not that it's a bad system, quite the contrary, it's just difficult dealing with different nomenclatures etc. , but so far very enjoyable. ### 5/5 — Nice all around *2015-10-25, version 3.16* Stable, useful, easy to use, still very powerful.
