### 3/5 — Can’t login to my account on app

*2021-02-16, version 3.18*

Pls UPDATE APP because path token is no longer compatible and I can’t login to my account on your app!

### 2/5 — Scary privacy issues

*2018-12-18, version 3.18*

Imagine my embarrassment when I found out that all my followers could see albums I makes private. Imagine my horror to find out that There is no way to delete the auto upload album, unless you delete each individual photo, there’s thousands of them. Do not store any private photos on Flickr. Their privacy settings are confusing and not really private.

### 3/5 — Solid but could use some refinement

*2017-12-26, version 3.17*

This app works well but it has a few quirks. The biggest issue is that there's no way to sort except when you're doing a search. If you go to All Photos, it's unclear how they're sorted, and there's no way to change that as far as I can see.

The other big issue for me is no geo search. I would like to be able to find all photos in a particular area on the map.

Otherwise it's a good app.

### 4/5 — It's all there

*2017-09-20, version 2.16*

I have two Flickr accounts and like keeping them separate and both signed in on my iPhone. Every photo, group, or contact is there although not always quick to find.

September 2017 update: App. still works well for me, and check in on iPhone almost every day.

### 3/5 — No HTML/BBcode

*2016-09-11, version 2.16*

I tried the free and pay versions of this app, hoping the promised HTML and BBcode generation would work. Nope. Just the spinning life preserver of doom.

### 3/5 — Good but not great

*2016-04-06, version 2.16*

Some significant advantages over the official Flickr app, but not enough to switch. Descriptions are displayed poorly, and comments don't pull in liked images as on the desktop (neither does the official app). The main thing i was hoping for was an app that pulls the full resolution of the image when you zoom (the official app doesn't either). Zooming in on a low resolution image is almost worthless. It's bizarre that photo apps do this. Why did i bother uploading full res photos in the first place?

### 4/5 — A Strong Contender for 1 Flickr App

*2016-01-03, version 2.16*

This app is everything Flickr's could be...if they could be bothered?? Light, fully functional and free of all the bloat and those wretched rotating worry-beads. Recommended!

### 4/5 — iExplore for flikr

*2014-12-02, version 3.2*

Very good app easy to use easy to explore various groups or people or pictures. Recommend as a addendum to Flikr.

### 2/5 — Again to many ads.

*2014-09-29, version 2.48.1*

Ads all over the place. They want you to pay more for PRO when you are already a Flickr Pro member. If you can put up with all the clutter of them constantly trying to sell you stuff, it is after all free.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2014-07-29, version 2.47*

This app makes a great slideshow that doesn't seem to be in flickr mobile anymore

### 2/5 — Old version better

*2014-07-18, version 2.46*

New version doesn't load, has no "interestingness" category, and the ads are awful

### 2/5 — More problems that it is worth it:

*2014-04-02, version 2.39*

I can't stay logged in and when I log in I can't get to my pictures. Probably due to an upgrade which does not work on my iPhone 4s.

### 4/5 — Interesting picture surfing

*2014-02-28, version 2.39*

My favorite thing about this apish ow easy it is share a photo you find to any of the social networks, they did a good job writing this app.

### 4/5 — Getting better

*2013-09-13, version 2.31*

I really like the improvement in this app for scrolling through group photos. I only wish that the same scrolling feature worked on individual photo streams. The app often freezes when looking at photo streams.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Won’t work

*2020-07-20, version 3.18*

Will not work anymore cannot log into Flickr oath token error can’t understand why he does not fix it after I paid

### 1/5 — Unable to open my Flickr account

*2020-05-12, version 3.18*

App is not able to open my Flickr account, I get this message...
“ Oops! Flickr doesn't recognise the "oauth_token" this application is trying to use.”

### 1/5 — OAuth Token Error

*2020-04-03, version 3.18*

Can no longer authorize this app to log into Flickr. The error:

Oops! Flickr doesn't recognise the "oauth_token" this application is trying to use.

### 1/5 — HTML/BBCode generation non functional

*2016-12-23, version 2.16*

It would be cool to use the described feature, being able to generate HTML and BBCode, things Flickr's own all can not do and the Flickr website redesign broke from functioning on iOS Safari. But this app does not in fact have the feature it's description says it can do.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

### 1/5 — Ads intrusive, doesnt load all photos, greed

*2014-10-20, version 3.1*

Update: This app now has ads that require you to wait 30 seconds to view a photo. Pure greed on the developers part.

Update: Rather than making the ads less intrusive the developer has chosen to make them even worse. Now they require you to wait a certain amount of time before seeing a photo. Downgraded to one star until this is fixed.

I love this app but the new ads are very intrusive and don't allow the user to flick them down like the old ads. Also, when searching, the app stops loading new results after about 4,000 images no matter what the search term is or how many total images Flickr has for that search term. If these two problems were fixed this app would be five stars.

### 1/5 — too many ads

*2014-08-09, version 2.48.1*

Not sure why there are so many ads. There are banner ads at the bottom of screen and when you select a picture, you get a full screen ad. Very annoying.

### 1/5 — Do not use this app

*2013-05-21, version 2.25*

Makes all your photos public. Offers no option to change to private in bulk. Has to be done one photo at a time. Also no sorting of folders or sets by name. Why is it that a programmer never gets the idea that a user would like to see folders in a particular order.

### 2/5 — NEEDS UPDATE: Cannot access account

*2021-07-22, version 3.18*

“Flickr doesn’t recognize oauth token...”

In other words, this app is useless for accessing your own account because you can’t log in. If you just want to browse without logging into your account, it still works okay, for now.

This would be a pretty quick and easy fix if the developer would just update the certificates for his/her apps. Unfortunately, most of this dev’s apps seem to be abandoned - not just this one. I suspect this one will have a similar fate as the others and keep breaking bit by bit until it stops working completely (or Flickr does something to make it break all at once). Too bad, because this was a pretty cool app with lots of unique features.

### 2/5 — Non longer can login

*2020-11-04, version 3.18*

With the changes at Flickr, this apps o_auth token is no longer compatible. Can’t login to my Flickr account using app. This App needs an upgrade!

### 2/5 — Quit connecting

*2019-04-24, version 3.18*

My app worked fine for a long time but now it will no longer connect to Flickr

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Default Low Res

*2019-05-11, version 3.18*

Great app, defaulted low res must manually change to high res.

### 5/5 — Nicely Done

*2016-07-12, version 2.48.1*

My regular official Flickr app stopped working. I erased and re-downloaded it several times to no avail. have an old original iPad stuck in iOS 5.1.1. This stuff happens all the time. This app came to the rescue. It was the only one I could find that would still run on my unit. I did have to first download it via iTunes onto the desktop computer so as to have the old version offered to me.
The navigation method is a bit strange and some features are not available but overall it is a welcome backup and alternative for viewing Flickr. The photos display especially nicely. Oh by the way, my other official Flickr app finally began to behave. I don't know why. Now I have two good Flickr apps. What a country! (USA in case you are wondering)

### 5/5 — Great photo sharing tool

*2014-05-14, version 2.41*

Great! I use it all the time some my customers can view there shots.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2014-03-12, version 2.39*

Nice interface and quick to learn all of the features.

### 5/5 — Solid

*2013-12-16, version 2.38*

Excellent program. The only thing I wish it had was a one-tap favorite function.

### 5/5 — Good

*2013-11-12, version 2.36*

I enjoy having it handy on my desktop. Looking to see the grade of pictures taken with different cameras and lenses and artistic views of photographers.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2013-10-20, version 2.35*

This app is amazing! It works very well and I love the user interface! Great job!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2013-08-29, version 2.30*

Love it! Much better than the original Flickr app... (Original Flickr app I can't even get logged into!) This app works great!!! Thank you!!!

### 5/5 — Great app for free!

*2013-03-23, version 2.20*

This really is a great app. I can see all of the Flikr photos I uploaded from my iPhoto my iMac and even download them to my iPhone or iPad to edit them.
There are adds but they keep the app free so I don't mind. Wish Flikr would adopt the same business model and I could have that account for free as well!

### 5/5 — It's wonderful application

*2012-11-29, version 2.8*

This tool is wonderful and it's easy to see all images and its fast and not limited with number of images
