## Most critical reviews (9 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Severely Outdated

*2017-08-28, version 1.3.4*

This app is missing even the most simplest of tools - an eraser! To make things worse, it only has a couple levels of " undo" so if you want to edit your drill often your only option is to start over. Puck symbol is as big as players so it takes up a huge amount of space. I honestly can't figure out how anyone uses this app effectively. Sadly, there's just not too many options out there. I'd pay $50 for an updated version of this that allowed you to compile drills into plans, with time script for drills (my practices are very time compressed), ability to output PDF, email to share with asst. coaches + players, drill organizer interface (I coach different youth age levels), better tools (lines, goals, cones, tires, coaches, etc).

**Developer response:** Hi - we've recently posted an updated version of the sportBOARD with new features including the ability to share and print your diagrams. flexxCOACH also offers a web based Practice Planner that offers everything you mentioned in your comment. ### 2/5 — Not ready

*2011-11-16, version 1.0.0*

This is a good concept with potential. Unfortunately, it crashes all too often and isn't usable for coaching on ice. This app needs to have print and email as PDF capabilities, so a coach can send lesson plans to the other coaches and print out the plan to take to the rink.

Without these features you can get from other whiteboards, this might be a $1.99 app, and only if the crashes are fixed.

### 3/5 — Won't work on iPad mini

*2019-08-29, version 2.5.0*

Love this app... Worked perfect on my iPad... But I sold it and app doesn't work on my iPad mini

### 3/5 — More equipment options

*2013-10-01, version 1.3.4*

Would be great if one could move the nets instead of always having to be in the crease. Think multi station drills. Could also use some pucks and cones. All in all, just a tad too basic.

### 3/5 — Good Start

*2012-04-26, version 1.2.0*

Need to be able to send to emails, have a print option and eraser option. Smaller pucks would give more room. Like I said good start, hope you can add the changes. If you can make the changes this would be a 5 star app.

### 3/5 — Not bad for first go around

*2011-05-10, version 1.0.0*

A little buggy. Sometimes you place a player on the board and then go to move or turn him and you can't select him. Even when you "clear" the board, he'll still remain.

Cons: Periodic crashes, can't rename a file or drill once you've saved it, can't email the drill to yourself ( I end up using the "snapshot" feature of the iPad to mail to myself),

Pros: very easy navigation, filing of drills very simple to save and load,

Not a bad program when you are on the run and just need to get some drills documented, etc. There are still some benefits of using a desktop version of practice planning software for detailed practices.

### 4/5 — Needs print option

*2012-01-10, version 1.2.0*

Also I need to be able to print practice plans. Cannot seem to do that with this version. I'm not always going to take the iPad on the ice and I want to print multiple copies of the practice plan for the other coaches.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2013-01-25, version 1.2.0*

This is a great app. I use it for quick draw stuff at timeouts and between periods in the dressing room. I don't use this as a primary tool for coaching, just a good add on. I've used FlexxCOACH products for a long time and their practice planner and designer is great.

### 5/5 — Good Start

*2012-02-02, version 1.2.0*

I agree with the other review a print option is needed. I would also like to see some sort of practice planning features included.
