## What is Flick?

Your inbox never says "done." Flick does. Swipe your Gmail one card at a time — archive junk, keep what matters, confirm one-click unsubscribe requests — and watch the deck count down to zero. Free to start.

Flick turns your inbox into a deck of cards. One email at a time, full screen, no endless list. Swipe left to archive. Swipe right to keep. Swipe up and AI drafts a reply for you — saved to your drafts, never sent. The deck counts down with every decision — and when it hits zero, Flick marks the end of that displayed slice:

You're caught up.

UNSUBSCRIBE WITH CONFIRMATION
Moving a sender to a folder doesn't stop the mail — it just hides it. On supported messages, Flick asks for confirmation and submits the sender's advertised unsubscribe request. Sender processing is outside Flick, so the app does not claim every request will be honored. Flick can also help clear existing messages from that sender.

EMAIL THAT ENDS
You don't have an email problem. You have an ending problem: your inbox never says "done." A conventional inbox can feel like a feed: refreshing and hard to finish. Flick is built like a deck: finite and countable. You watch 47 become 12 become 0 — then Flick marks that displayed slice complete. No pull-to-refresh rabbit hole. No doomscrolling your own mail.

AI REPLIES THAT WAIT FOR YOU
Swipe up on an email that needs an answer and Flick drafts the reply. It lands in your drafts folder — Flick never sends email on your behalf. You review, you edit, you hit send. You stay the sender. Always.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Works with Gmail via Google sign-in and the restricted gmail.modify permission
- Sign in with Apple supported
- Google describes gmail.modify as able to read, compose, send, and modify mail. Flick's current build does not expose or invoke Gmail Send; AI replies go to drafts.
- Your inbox stays yours; Flick helps you work through the displayed slice

HOW A SESSION FEELS
Open Flick. The deck says 23. Left, left, right, swipe up for a draft, left… the number falls. After the displayed cards are decided: You're caught up. You put the phone down. That's the whole product.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Does Flick send email for me? No. Never. AI-drafted replies land in your drafts folder for you to review and send yourself.
Is unsubscribe just a filter? No. On supported messages, Flick submits the sender's advertised unsubscribe request after you confirm. It cannot guarantee that every sender honors the request.
Will Flick help me work toward inbox zero? Yes. The displayed deck is finite and counts down. "You're caught up" describes that displayed slice, not independently verified proof that an entire mailbox is empty.
Does Flick work with Gmail? Yes. Connect a Gmail account with Google sign-in. The exact gmail.modify permission boundary and Flick's narrower no-Send behavior are described above. Flick is also on the web at app.flicked.email.
Is there a free version? Yes — the swipe deck is free to use, and the free plan includes 5 AI drafts.
Is Flick a full email client? Flick is a triage and cleanup tool: decide, archive, unsubscribe, and draft replies. It's built to end, not to keep you scrolling.

PLANS
Flick is free to start, with 5 AI reply drafts included. Flick Lite and Flick Pro subscriptions unlock the full experience. Pro annual comes with a 7-day free trial, Pro monthly starts with an introductory first-week offer, and you can add a 100-draft top-up pack anytime.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.13 — 2026-08-29

A tuning release on top of 1.0.12's big update (the flipped swipes, the tutorial, real message bodies, kept threads, unsubscribe receipts).

• The rating prompt can now appear after your first finished deck — only when you choose to leave, never mid-swipe. It asks what you actually think.
• Better signup and progress measurement under the hood, so problems get found before you hit them.
• Refreshed listing copy. As always: "caught up" marks the end of the displayed deck, not verified whole-mailbox completion; drafts are saved, never sent; Flick never deletes mail or marks it read.

### 1.0.12 — 2026-08-28

Finishing a deck now actually finishes. Clear your cards and you reach the end — "caught up" — instead of a verification screen that never resolved. "Caught up" marks the end of the displayed deck, not verified whole-mailbox completion.

• Heavy inbox? Flick now deals the next twenty past the mail you kept, and tells you about how many unread remain. "Done for now" ends the session; "deal the next 20" is your choice, never automatic.
• The swipes moved: left archives, right keeps, up drafts a reply. A one-time notice shows the new map. Flick never sends, never deletes, never marks read.
• The reader shows the actual message, not a snippet — and AI drafts are written from it.
• Kept threads have a home: see what you kept in Settings and put any of them back in the deck.
• Unsubscribe receipts: every attempt is recorded as confirmed, requested, "no one-click link", or "couldn't reach the sender" — with an open-in-Gmail link on Gmail accounts when Flick couldn't do it for you. Sender honor remains unverified.
• Legible in dark mode, one Done button in Settings, and "drafted" where it used to say "replied".

### 1.0.11 — 2026-08-07

The finite email deck — swipe through what's waiting, reach the end, and leave.

New in 1.0.11:
• A clearer App Store listing — new screenshots and copy that say what Flick actually does: real unsubscribe, bulk cleanup, and a deck that ends.
• Under-the-hood tidying.

No infinite scroll. No guilt badges. When you're done, you're done.

### 1.0.10 — 2026-08-03

Two small additions:
- A "Rate Flick" link in Settings.
- A one-time rating ask after you clear a real deck and tap Done. Never during your caught-up moment, never twice on a version.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-07-21

Flick 1.0.9 — the trust release.

• Connecting Gmail? Google's consent screen says "Folderly" — the verified email engine behind Flick, from the same team. The app now explains this before the screen appears, and Settings links to folderly.com.
• Honest errors: when Flick's server has a problem, the app says exactly that — instead of blaming your connection.
• The demo deck is now unmistakably a demo: sample mailboxes can never be confused with your connected accounts.
• Crash reporting added, so we catch breakages before you feel them.
