When the peace of the village is shattered due to a surprise attack from a clan of enemy ninjas that have been long thought extinct, there's only one thing for Nimbus, the master of the sky walking technique, to do. Dodge, dash, and slice their way through to reclaim the stolen scrolls, and get their revenge.

Flicker Ninja is a fast paced 2D platformer, in which you can jump and turn without limit in the air. You'll need to react to ever growing threats, and hone your skills to be able to navigate to through the treacherous environments. On top of that, the game has some general bug fixes, difficulty tweaks, clarity improvements, and a fresh looking ui. For those who wondered why the menus were the slowest paced thing in the game, we've sped them up significantly so that they're much more snappy to navigate. Of course, this update features two new powers for those skilled enough to collect the scrolls.

### 1.03 — 2023-08-18

A small maintenance patch to set the groundwork for world 3.

This patch features:
- Reduced spike hitboxes to better match their visuals.
- A slider for music volume
- Cleaned up the ui for the options
- Small changes to multiple levels to increase visual clarity.
- An overhaul to the movement that prevents lag from massively increasing the player speed.

This version features bug cleanup, a better version of the final power "Sticky", as well as fancy new analytics and ads. 

Bugs
- Bouncing spiked balls should be less likely to escape their containment. (Note, particularly feisty spiked balls may still find a way out)
- Fixed incorrect rotation on some backgrounds and objects, and cleaned up some objects to try and minimize the fuzzy look that some textures have.

Difficulty adjustments
-Level 40 has been slightly toned down. It was going to receive harsher adjustments, but when a seven year old beat it, I decided it was fine as is.
- Some scrolls were moved to be more visible after the developer spontaneously discovered basic human decency.

Sticky is now sticky far more sticky. Collect the scrolls to try it out for yourself.

That's all. A relatively small patch. To compensate here's a some teaser information for third world, the fallen metropolis.

Nothing good lasts forever, and this once massive city on the outskirts of the desert is no exception. Catch glimpses of grandeur and fight your way through the high tech graveyard that has been overtaken by enemy ninjas.
