## What is FlickerCheck?

FlickerCheck turns your iPhone camera into a fast screen and light flicker screening tool.

Point the camera at an OLED phone, monitor, LED bulb or lamp. FlickerCheck automatically looks for a stable signal, analyzes brightness variation and presents a result you can understand without reading raw engineering data.

HOW IT WORKS

FlickerCheck samples brightness from the camera image over time, checks signal quality and looks for repeatable brightness variation. When the signal is not reliable enough, the app says Unable to determine instead of presenting a falsely precise value.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS

FlickerCheck is a camera-based screening utility, not laboratory equipment. Camera frame rate, exposure, rolling shutter, movement and frequencies above the camera sampling range can affect results. High-frequency PWM may not be recoverable as its true physical frequency.

FlickerCheck does not diagnose eye strain, health conditions or product safety.

PRIVACY

Camera frames are processed locally on your device. FlickerCheck does not upload measurement images or collect your saved measurements.

MONETIZATION

Two successful measurements are included free. Lifetime Pro unlocks unlimited Screen and Light tests with one non-consumable purchase. Failed or indeterminate measurements do not consume the free allowance.
