## What is Fliff?

With Fliff you can convert formats of image files or scale them. You can load images from the clipboard, the Photos app, the Files app or from the camera. The converted images files can be saved to file system and to the camera roll and can be copied to the clipboard or shared. You can preview them in order to check the file size and the quality, espicially when using compression.

Fliff can also be called from the Share menu in other apps that provide images. Furthermore Fliff is also a photo editing extension, i.e. you can use it as a plugin in the edit mode of the Photos app.


This app is freeware. It comes with absolutely no warranty. Use it at your own risk!

### 2.1 — 2026-01-02

Adjustments for iOS 26.

### 2.0 — 2025-06-26

Images can now also be scaled. Whereas previously only the quality of the image could be reduced to decrease the file size, the size can now also be changed in pixels. The aspect ratio is always retained.

### 1.3 — 2025-06-17

- If too many images are converted at the same time, there may be a lack of memory. In this case, a warning is now displayed to prevent a crash.
- Bug fixes
- When Fliff is accessed via the “Share” menu from the Photos app, the HEIF version is now used as the original of the two versions offered by iOS.

### 1.1 — 2022-11-09

The following error has been fixed: In rare cases the info dialog appeared not only at program start but also after an image conversion.
