I’ve started to bring my iPad to the airport to help passengers. It’s better than the airport boards in several ways - you can turn off the annoying code share rotation, and sort by flight number, departure time, or destination. ### 5/5 — Great app but needs... *2019-06-19, version 2.2.6* Very useful app with some good features. To make it excellent then having some filter to separate domestic from international flights would be very useful. It does exactly what you want as an alternative to hunting for displays in an airport ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Used to be great. *2024-07-07* Recently this app has added these ridiculously long ads. I even upgraded to the paid version thinking ads would go away. In case you’re thinking the same thing-they do not. Don’t waste your money. I’ve used this app religiously for years and don’t mind paying for an ad free version. But don’t make us pay and still have to watch 90 seconds of ridiculous game ads. ### 1/5 — No data *2023-09-22* I bought flightboard pro a couple of days ago and it worked fine. Now the app opens but no data shows up in either the iPhone or iPad apps. Sure hope they can fix it as I love the app…. How is this any different from the free version of this app? ### 1/5 — Once again the app disappoints *2019-10-13, version 2.3.1* North American arrivals are once again not showing up on arrival boards in European airports. It is 9pm central time where i am and 3 am in London. According to this app, not one flight is arriving from North America at Heathrow this morning in London. The app also displays a button to download another flight app detracting from the apps appearance. I don't feel this app deserves the price tag! ### 2/5 — Only 1/2 good *2023-10-06* The app has stopped reporting arrivals. I thought it was just one airport, but now I’m noticing none of the airports. So only half good. Fix the arrival problem and I will give the app a five star rating. ### 3/5 — Useful app but missing entire airlines *2022-05-02, version 2.4.5* Avelo Airlines has been operating for more than a year now, and for some reason flightboard refuses to acknowledge they even exist. Why? It’s been a year and Avelo is a successful airline that real people use every day. It’s just weird when I fly and I check flightboard and my flights don’t technically exist. The flip-style graphics are undeniably charming. Unfortunately I can't use it regularly until they make two fixes: 1. Stop treating codeshares as if they're equivalent. They're not! What we want to see in 99% of cases is the operating carrier. List flights by the operating carrier's IATA code and relegate codeshares to the detail screen. There is absolutely no good reason for codeshares to rotate in and out on the main screen, as is the case at present. 2. Allow the lists to be sorted by airline, in addition to time and destination. I often want to see all of a given airline's departures from an airport, and at present that's impossible. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Flightboard Pro: A Must-Have App for Uber Drivers Near Airports *2024-03-06* I recently upgraded to the Flightboard Pro app for $3.99, and it’s been a game-changer for my Uber driving. Living next to the Redmond Airport, this app has made it incredibly convenient to track flights in real-time. It takes the guesswork out of trying to figure out when flights land, which means I can be at the airport right on time for pickups. This has made earning money with Uber a bit easier and more efficient. The ad-free experience is a nice bonus, too. And I’ve never had an issue looking any flight at any airport that I’ve ever been at. The one improvement I would suggest to make this app better is the ability to search for flights using the three-digit airport code. For example, I want to be able to sift through the list of flights using the code “DXB “to find flights to Dubai.
