This app allows me to show the workings of an E6B-like flight computer to my students. The ability to zoom in helps students see their work clearly. What I really like is that the wind “dot” is shown as a line. I believe that makes the wind vector easier to visualize. I wish it had an arrow head but maybe another version. My ONLY negative is the difficulty in moving the wind slide. Maybe a three finger slide instead of having to zoom out first.... ### 4/5 — E6b review *2017-01-21, version 1.5* Great app for when you forget your physical E6B or when trying to show someone how to use. Only reason I knocked one star is because the 0 degree air temp mark is not centered over the zero line. It's on the -5 degree line, which is a little irritating because I have to count down from the 50 degree mark to find 0 line. For that reason alone, it's an excellent teaching tool. ... and neophyte pilots need analog devices to learn from.
