Extensive Resources- “About” section is a treasure trove of valuable info. Hotels details, shuttle/uber details, cleanliness reviews, and even weather updates for each city or state. Real time flight tracking- I can track where the inbound is arriving from etc. Helpful reminders - “Check- in alerts and taxing to gate updates. Detailed Hotel Info: above and beyond by providing details like whether the fridge in the hotel room has freezers for our ice packs & of the hotel will freeze them or not. This app truly embodies “FC VIEW” offering a level of support and convenience. Losing access to this app would be devastating, and I sincerely hope we can explore options to ensure it continued availability. I would say %99 of my company uses this app, because it works well! My only thing I wish was added on was a calculation of how much money you were making for the total trip, and for each day, or for a turn within the trip (to know if I can afford it drop that trip, or that part of the trip) I use crewline for that but fcview is much more user friendly! Robert has cleverly combined a number of public data feeds together with airline flight schedule data to keep pilots up to the second current on what’s happening with their aircraft assignment, inbound flights, gate changes, crew changes, the works - even the status of potential commute flights home! The overnights include robust information about the hotel and crowd-sources insights into food options, activities, what’s in the gym, everything! Also makes logbook entries absolutely painless. I really can’t imagine a more useful app for an airline pilot - and the price is right. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — They keep on increasing data collection and we keep on agreeing to it for usage *2025-11-25* The app itself is great, but the amount of data collection the app does now is concerning. You are essentially paying money and agreeing to share your data. Realistically almost all apps do that, but I expected better from this one. Just take a look at your App Privacy Report. I know everything raised for the inflation but 150% it is too much. Our salary raised 11%, so you will see a lot of thanks but no thanks. Specially when they another options with same value, but for 40% less. So, no I won’t renew my subscription. For example, the crew doesn’t update. I see 12 crew when there are only 10 of us. So it doesn’t reflect those who got off the trip. Please fix this bc it used to update the crew. Remember to refresh from the schedule screen and not on individual days. Would be a great addition if they had opentime access or at least for premium. Messaging would be great. I would highly recommend adding a crew messaging feature, where you don’t need to add the person as a friend first to message them. Could see it being beneficial to everyone if when adding the messaging, you can provide an option in user settings on whether they want to receive messages or not from people that aren’t on their friends list. Seeing the pricing reflected based on hourly and per diem/double time rates would be great as well.
