Great idea.  A little frustrating that I had to be below 180kts and about 7,000' to get valid indications.

Once up it was within 150' and 2 kts of the actual aircraft speed and altitude.

In cruise it was precessing badly, almost unusable.  That was at FL410 and an indicated .83 Mach.

A landscape mode would be very desirable.

Super junky, not even close to a reliable back up in my plane. I'm not sure what the use of this app is.

This is a terrible and downright dangerous app.  It can't tell a bank from a slip or skid.  It also confuses acceleration and deceleration with pitch changes.  I'm quite sure that if you tried to depend on this as a back up attitude instrument you'd be dead within a couple of minutes.

I'm an ATP CFI CFII MEI AGI and active professional pilot.  I bought this for fun but it stinks even as an artificial horizon simulator.  Does not hold a reference for wing level and must be caged constantly which defeats the purpose.  I want my $5 back.

Ich habe ständig das Problem, dass wenn ich das Program aufrufe, startet es, und etwa 3 Sekunden später schliesst es sich von alleine wieder.
Eine Stunde später wieder gestartet, da läuft es einwandfrei. geschlossen, erneut aufgemacht, schliesst es sich sofort wieder.
Wenn dass im Flugzeug passiert, gerade wenn man es baucht, ist dass äußerst gefährlich. Daher nur zum angucken geeignet, und dafür ist es definitiv zu teuer.
Die Fehlfunktion ist unbhängig von anderen programmen im Hintergrund und tritt auch auf, wenn man alles andere sauber schliesst. Wenn es läuft, kommt nach dem Start sofort oben der GPS Pfeil, oft kommt der nicht, und dann schliesst sich das Program wieder. Bei anderen Programmen kommt der Pfeil, also schliesse ich eine GPS Fehlfunktion aus.
Im Flugzeug habe ich es getestet. Es wird nach kurzer Zeit ungenau ( Horizont hängt ). In VMC kann man das ja neu mitteln. In IMC bloss nicht darauf verlassen, das geht ganz sicher mächtig schief, und endet auf dem Friedhof.

I wish I had checked other's reviews before buying. It does not work for flight. Too much vibration for the gyro I guess. I had my iphone Velcroed to the panel. Works while driving a car, but who need pitch/bank angle for driving? The free versions will do that.

Needs to be updated. Airspeed and altitude windows on iphone are too small to see. Need to be twice as big.

Should in theory perform as well as small < $200 AHRS for radio-controlled devices, but does not. Lots of precession-like drift that doesn't fix itself.  Leads me to believe it doesn't implement a proper extended Kalman filter. Looking forward to updates as the market needs/wants a proper AHRS implementation for the iPhone 4. I encourage the author to update the program to include compass heading and use it as well as GPS in an Extended Kalman filter solution.

Altitude, heading , speed , vsi all work great ! Attitude has a little lag. 
But I’ve used this many times flying, it’s helped me get out or stay out of trouble.
Best part is it tells you nearest airfield and distance at bottom along with aero drone freq.
 Improvement of having more nearest airports would help. No lag on attitude. 
I fly ag planes and we don’t have attitude indicators or sometimes even turn n banks.
 So when the weather gets bad or marginal I pull this out.

Please updated it so I can use it on my new iPhone 7 please!!!

Jetzt ist die App wirklich brauchbar (!) und liefert auch im Flug vernünftige Anzeigen, da die Fehler der Sensoren durch die GPS-Daten kompensiert werden!

Sehr guter Ansatz! Leider driften die Gyro-Sensoren zu schnell ab und die GPS-Attitude reagiert zu träge. Toll könnte es sein, wenn die Gyros vom GPS alle 15 bis 60 Sekunden ge- caget würden. Sehnlichst wünsche ich mir dieses Update, dann könnte ich mir 5 Sterne vorstellen!

I knew when the iPhone 4 with gyros was announced it was only a matter of time before someone created an attitude indicator utilizing this functionality. There have been a few apps before like this but they do not use the gyros and only use GPS data. This app is amazing. I tested it out while flying; put it through all kinds of coordinated and uncoordinated turns, climbs, dives, slips and skids and the indicator behaved exactly like the real one in the cockpit. This app could save your life if mounted properly in the plane ahead of time. Note: don't buy this if you don't have an iPhone 4, you wont be impressed.

This is a great app for any aviation lover. It keeps you entertained when fly commercial. You can see the exact speed, attitude, and altitude of your flight. However the app does not show heading and the "GPS attitude" option does not work. Overall, great app but could use some work.

As a minimum, the speed and altitude display numbers need to be larger.  Probably the heading could be larger, too.  Recommend having an option under settings to select.  Otherwise, a cool apt.

Macht was es soll, egal ob Kurvenflug oder Turbulenz, Pitch + Bank richtig anzuzeigen per Gyro. Reagiert sehr flüssig auf Beschleunigungen und ist sehr stabil. Die Zusatzanzeigen lassen sich nach Wunsch ja einzeln konfigurieren, da ist für jede Situation dann das Display "al gusto" zu gestalten :-)

Bought this to try. Could be very good but the numbers do not work well. Speed lags and changes seriously. Slowing from 60 to 30 and it still shows 60 a minute later.

Altitude is also changing all the time and does not come near the Garmin GPS figures.

Figures for ASI and Altitude are too small to read unless right in front of you and could be made bigger.

If it worked better this would have been a 5 start application. I coudl not find a contact for the manuafacturer hence the detailed response.
