Its one failing is that for some reason it requires an internet connection to save a flight log. This obviously is a problem if you are flying in areas with no coverage. The logs should be saved locally without the need for an internet connection. ### 4/5 — Nice application *2022-05-06* This is a basic application for logging drone flights. It is exactly what I need. My wish for a future update would be the ability to sync the logs between my iPhone and my iPad. ### 3/5 — Has potential, but not quite there yet *2021-12-15* It is nice that it grabs your position and time, as well as make it easy to select the drone and operator. There are a few bugs though. If you delete flights, they still show up in the list. If you select Fahrenheit in the settings, Kelvin still shows up in the flight log itself. The weather is not accurate. Right now the app shows my location as cloudy. Weather app and official USG sources do not show this, but have sunny. And there is barely a cloud in the sky. I select record weather information, and not all the weather information that this app gives is recorded in the flight log. Recording all the information in the log would be nice. Required features before I would actually use in real life: The checklist is included in the log flight action and is recorded in the flight log for that flight Weather information includes the cloud ceiling. Ability to change the end flight time, so that I don’t have to guess and have accurate flight times. **Developer response:** I'm sorry you're having issues with the app. Please ensure you're on the latest release and look out for future updates that may resolve your problems ### 3/5 — Has potential, but not even close yet. *2020-04-12* The user interface of the app is pretty good, but there are a lot of things that need added before the app is even usable. 1. MUST be an active flight tracking feature that you can start and stop when you take off and land. This should automatically log beginning and end times, date, location, and local weather data to the log. 2. Historical flight log MUST be able to edit the date as you cannot currently. MUST be able to select a location rather than it just logging where you were at the time of making the historical entry. Would be a bonus if it could append historical data based upon the location you selected. 3. In viewing the flight logs it doesn’t even tell you a flight time, or even the times you entered as start and finish?? This seems obvious when I’m looking to find my flight times. I’d also like the drone SN to be optional rather than required when adding to the fleet. Love the ability to export easily. Doesn’t convert to military time correctly. It won’t calculate your current flight hours properly. I have over 20 flight hours. I entered all of flight logs into this app and according to the app I have 4 hours. The app has great features like keeping track of aircraft and average time of day. ### 1/5 — Broken and incomplete *2023-05-30* I gave this one star mostly because I had to pay for it. The faults that are attributed to this app are probably only a three star. First off, let me say the app works for the bare minimum things that I wanted to do, log my GPS location automatically, and be able to easily log flight times. Things that I wish it did was be able to edit… anything!?!. Once you enter most things you have to delete it if you want to change anything. A few things are broken like the weather for some reason always says it’s 300° don’t even know what that means. also, the flight time log says I have 32,000.34.000.4 don’t even know that means either. This app crashes a lot. Definitely needs bug fixes for the latest iOS. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review. For some reason it requires an internet connection to save a flight log unless you disable save weather info. Most of my flights are in areas without cell coverage. Deleting all flight logs does not work. Deleting a single flight log results in app crashes trying to view logs. Exporting works. It would be nice to import. I had to delete and reinstall the app twice and I don’t have my prior flight data in the app. I did export first. Attempted to contact support via email. That email address is invalid. ### 2/5 — Giving it a try, but defective *2023-10-01* Just got the app and haven’t logged anything yet. Right out of the gate the weather doesn’t work. Hopefully it can still log flights at least. Weather will not update along with sunrise and sunset is locked up and wrong! ### 3/5 — My opinion *2022-06-26* OK it’s been about two weeks and I have been using this app it does need a couple little things like the weather doesn’t work. today I open the app up and I thought all information that I had input it was gone because it was asking me to add a drone while I added my drone and then everything showed back up so so far so good. There have been no updates that I’m aware of the weather shows in hundreds of degrees and I know it’s not that hot. I wish that you can edit an entry instead of having to delete it and then re-enter all the information over again. I just checked my Entries for pre-flight and all of my entries are gone. I guess I’m gonna have to continue paper login for a back up. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review - I'm sorry you've run into issues. Very nearly enough info for CAA, certainly enough if you’re starting out before investing in a more comprehensive log. Wish it had a maintenance tab and a way to edit a flight log after being filed but other than that it is perfect for what I was looking for. ### 5/5 — Performance Update *2021-08-25* Thank you so very much for all the work and effort you put into adding the new features. It has greatly enhanced the usability of the Application. This satisfies FAA Regulations, is easy to use, and thanks to your diligence, problem free. I am an FAA Licensed UAV Commercial Pilot and would wholeheartedly recommend the use of your Application. Very much appreciated! If your considering expanding the App in the future, you may want to consider the Option to add the completed check list to your log, or save in a separate register showing the date, time and items checked. It would also be useful to have a check list comment area where you could log your pre-flight inspection findings and record any repair or maintenance performed. This would not likely effect the casual flier, but much edge your app a bit more toward the commercial side. I have found your checklist area to be very useful in enhancing safety and problem free flying. It has prompted me on more than one occasion to correct a potential problem before it happens. Where safety is concerned, maintenance and prevention is key. To my fellow Pilots, please consider financially supporting the developer in future updates. This Application is a winner! We are the ones who benefit from it’s use, and we should do all we can to assist this developer in providing the solid and reliable Application he has provided without cost. What a great idea, maybe some graphed flight session analytics in the future? It would add a bit of fun to a normally dull record keeping task. I wish there was a way to edit the aircrafts. I have two uas that are same model, and the app combines the data of those as same aircraft. ### 4/5 — Could use an update *2024-12-11* The CAA has updated rules that call for quite a bit of supporting evidence for renewal as well as periodic checks. The PRDA01 requirements are good guidance for what we need in a logbook app. Any chance that you can take a look?
