I can’t make this app work for the automatic time features I would use it for. It doesn’t record any of the times. When trying to calibrate it for Noise Assist, it crashes every time. It doesn’t know which airport it’s at either. Help! ### 1/5 — ... not really working - useless. *2013-11-17, version 1.21* Not working like expected (due the description). Sorry, but useless. ### 1/5 — Was great tool, service bad, update bad, no contact: forget it *2013-04-06, version 1.21* Works when configured properly! Use it now for all my flights in conjunction with logten pro. When stopping the APP running in background mode, the navigation symbol in the upper right corner of the iPad still persists, indicating a still operational navigation task. Can be corrected with iPad cold start only. Wish: when transferring data to logten pro, would be nice to transfer block times AND flying times. Having this, the transfer is mostly one or two finger tips. The Update makes things worse. The lighting bug is much worse now on the iPad and if you would like to transfer more than one flight into logten pro, at least half of the flight will never be inside logten pro. Try to find out to connect the tool writer. I didn't figure out how. Sorry, no stars now anymore, this tool is now crap. ### 2/5 — Next leg does not work *2020-04-03* When I try click on the arrow to go to the next leg doesn’t work! I tried slide, and doesn’t work too! **Developer response:** Hi Wesley, Check the number if configured legs, and make sure the program is not waiting for A time to complete. Whenever it is timing it does not allow next leg. Furthermore only 6 legs are supported. ### 2/5 — Major oversight *2018-07-08* Who says every landing has to be followed by an engine shutdown (or ‘Block Off’)? This app does! Who says that all your times must only be recorded in UTC and not local time? This app does. There is no way to change either of the above issues. Particularly, the first one - if you do multiple landings and takeoffs whilst the engine remains running, this app is not for you. **Developer response:** Hi Major oversight, Unfortunate to hear your bad experience with the App. What I don't understand is that I haven't had a message from you explaining your problems..? It is only since a very short time we as developers can now communicate via the Apple review system. You need to keep in mind that normally a flight always starts and stops, and by occasion does touch and go's. I am guessing you're the odd one out here (paradropping, or flying a helicopter?). The app has an option called 'Auto Next Leg' and will start a new leg automatically. The app supports a maximum of 8 Legs. Maybe this will help? As for the UTC Time, in my whole aviation career, times are always noted in UTC, so again here you might be the odd one out. However, this is something I could make an easy change for.. Again, next time (and as a tip in general), contact me directly so I (or we developers in general) can address your concerns! ### 3/5 — LogTen export not working *2017-12-02* The current version of this app isn’t functioning well with iOS 11. It won’t automatically log the “block in” time. More frustrating is that it won’t export to logten pro. It just says “logten not installed on this device” when it clearly is. Hope this gets fixed as I used to use this app everyday. Can you please leave me a message with your issues (if still applicable) on my website, http://www.bluebits.nl/?page_id=124 Thanks ### 3/5 — Brightness and startup issues. *2014-12-18* I'm not sure why the screen brightness is affected by this app because there's no setting related to that. Most of us using an ipad in the cockpit are using an EFB program of some sort so please leave the screen brightness alone. All we want is for the timer to run in the background and give us accurate results after landing. Keep it simple. ### 4/5 — Lighting problems *2013-01-16* I love this app. It keeps my head up when taxiing instead of reaching for a pad and pen to write down the times. At first it was off a few minutes on the block times but has settled down and become more accurate. The only problem now is the brightness. The app seems to think it needs to be brighter at night. I have my ipad mini set to invert the colors at night as normal mode is too bright. When I start taxiing it turns the brightness up halfway. I turn it back down. When I'm taking off it goes up to half brightness and when I land it goes back up again. This is very annoying and ruins my night vision at the most inopportune times. I cannot find any contact info to resolve this problem.
