Sometimes the children don’t let me know when they have landed and they both travel with work. My one complaint is that entering a search term can be difficult because the app searches on every character and there’s a big lag so often it misses half of what you’ve typed. ### 3/5 — Too Secure *2026-08-21, version 6.28.3* I like the app, but the 3 factor authentication is a bit ridiculous: username/password + e-mail code + MS Authenticator. I have to do all this *every single time* I log into the app. Plus there is a recapcha that works about 2/3 of the time. I think they have gone overboard on this security. It’s been many years now, and every time there’s an update, I always check to see if the most wanted feature – “Live Activity” – has been added. But it’s still not supported. I’ve thought about switching to another flight tracker app that does have Live Activity, but kept waiting, hoping this FlightAware Flight Tracker app would finally add it. The developers fix bugs, but they never add new features. There’s not even a widget to show live flight information.
