## What is FlightLog Pilot?

Every flight. Every duty. One clear record.

FlightLog is a professional pilot logbook for iPhone and iPad. Record your flights, track your duty time and keep your documents together — from the first entry to a signed flight assignment.

YOUR FLIGHT HISTORY

• Record multiple legs in one duty, with routes, aircraft, crew and times.
• Calculate duty, block and flight time automatically.
• Track Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring for each phase.
• Calculate day and night time from the sun’s position.
• Search your flights and review logbook statistics.

DUTY TIME AND LIMITS

Plan your next duty with a clear view of your remaining capacity. FTL radar shows accumulated hours, time remaining to limits and when capacity becomes available again. What-if duties help you explore future workloads.

Available modes include Russia’s Order No. 381, EASA FTL and FAA Part 117.

A SIGNED FLIGHT ASSIGNMENT

Bring routes, crew and planned and actual times into one record. Add the PIC’s signature on screen. Export the flight assignment and logbook appendix as a single PDF. A pre-send check helps you find missing required fields.

Add fuel uplift or write-off lines when needed, with a document number and comment.

DOCUMENTS WITHIN REACH

Keep licenses, medical certificates, passports and visas organized. Expiry reminders at 90, 30 and 7 days help you prepare ahead of time.

Attach OFP, ATL/TLB, W&B, manifests and other operational documents to your flights. For a ramp check, create a PDF with credentials, recency and cumulative limits. The exported file is available offline.

TOOLS FOR THE WORKING PILOT

Use E6B calculators for runway wind, fuel, mass, unit conversions and altitude corrections. Mark flight events from Apple Watch and see your current flight on the Lock Screen with Live Activity.

YOUR LOGBOOK, ACROSS YOUR DEVICES

Work with your logbook offline and enable iCloud sync when you need it. Share a duty with your crew, create backups and protect access with a biometric lock.

On iPad, work with your logbook and duty editor side by side. The interface is available in English and Russian.

Built for line pilots, captains, instructors and student pilots who want a clear, organized record of their flying.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.9.5 — 2026-10-27

• Refined the logbook, duty, document and E6B screens with compact controls, clearer labels and improved iPhone and iPad layouts.
• Improved light appearance, Russian labels, settings and duty totals.
• Clarified iCloud status and upload error messages. Local-only storage uses a quiet notice you can hide.
• In company mode, portal documents, briefings and report requirements now refresh while preserving local edits.
• Added clearer assignment revision and actual-data comparison. Loading the portal version requires your confirmation.
• Assignments no longer in your portal account leave the active list. Saved copies, scans and signatures remain available in the local archive.
• Fixed the initial presentation of document and crew editors and the acknowledgement confirmation position on iPad.

### 1.9.4 — 2026-10-26

• PIC and SIC titles are now selectable: PIC, PIC instructor, examiner, or pilot. The same title prints on the flight assignment.
• A duty can have only one PIC instructor.
• Extra-crew rows no longer disappear after you pick a title and type the name.
• On iPad the duty totals stay at the bottom when the keyboard is open.

### 1.9.3 — 2026-10-25

• On iPhone Duo the open journal uses both inner screens: flights on the left, the duty on the right, split on the hinge. Closing the device keeps the usual phone layout.
• Folding or unfolding no longer crashes the journal.
• iCloud status is honest: you see whether sync is on, what “on this device only” means, where it stopped, and how to resume.
• Scanned documents stay on this iPad. If iCloud is off or blocked, FlightLog no longer warns that the files are waiting in iCloud.

### 1.9.2 — 2026-10-17

• Typing in a personal duty stays responsive. The logbook updates after a short pause instead of on every character.
• Add a fuel line only when you need one. Plus adds fuel, minus writes it off. The line has a document number and a comment, counts toward fuel at start, and is printed in the assignment appendix.
• The flight assignment and the journal appendix are now one PDF.
• A duty opens as one workspace: the entry, preparation, and documents. Takeoff, landing, and briefing stay inside the duty and are marked In development.
• Saving a duty no longer fails when the iCloud copy of the journal is not downloaded yet, or when the phone rejects a file-protection flag. The duty stays on the phone. If a save still cannot be written, the message includes the system reason.

### 1.9.0 — 2026-10-08

• A sync status screen shows duties still only on this device, files that did not reach iCloud, conflicts, and the last save error. Open a duty from the list; retry the upload or the merge from the same screen.
• Filters now include status: saved locally only, duty limit exceeded, no medical control, incomplete.
• When another device changed a duty while this one still had un-uploaded edits, you can keep this device’s version or take the other one. The rejected copy is no longer dropped silently.
• Roster “Merge past duties” is available for transliterations (Иванов / Ivanov), not only look-alike spellings.
• You can encrypt the logbook database behind Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode (Settings → Security). Other devices still merge through a separate iCloud Keychain key.
• On iPad the sidebar starts open, and hiding it stretches the duty across the window. On a wide detail column, times and crew sit side by side, two legs share a row, and the totals sit on one line.
• A year-sized summary PDF is much faster. Live Activity and the Watch follow the language chosen in the app. The “Location required” alert appears only when AutoBlock is actually armed.
• A duty created or deleted on another device shows up in an already-open logbook within a few seconds of iCloud delivering it, without leaving the list and coming back.
• On iPad in portrait the sidebar stays over the list. The open duty keeps to the free strip, like on iPhone; the sidebar button hides the list and the duty stretches across the window.
