## What is Flightscape eFlight Manager?

Flightscape eFlight Manager is a Flight Plan Manager add-on to expand the connected flight to the cockpit.

The application automates the process of collecting all the information for your trip by ingesting flight plans from your flight planning system of choice. A comprehensive and complete package is then generated containing all the latest information required for a trip such as MET, NOTAM, Upper Wind and Temperature / Significant Weather charts and documentation.
As well as being a system for delivering data for a trip, eFlight Manager has the ability to capture information from the flight crew. Information such as fuel records, actual flight times, and actual Fuel On board (FOB) are uploaded to the ground server for immediate analysis and reporting.

Major features include:
- ARINC 633-2 flight plan ingestion.

Pre-flight Briefing:
- METAR data with green, amber, red coloring based on configurable minima.
- TAF for each airfield.
- NOTAM for each airfield.
- SNOWTAM for each airfield.
- Update facility to receive the latest data for your trip.
- FIR NOTAM, ASHTAM and SIGMETS.
- Operational notices.
- PDF Briefing Package.
- Flight Recalculation
- Sign Off.

Trip:
- Flight Summary showing weight and fuel information with offline recalculations.
- Delay records.
- Trip Log for capturing actual flight times, fuel on board, etc.

Scratch Pad
- Captures text notes.
- Captures drawings.

Device Sync
- Allows crews to “push” or “share” the data that has been entered into eFM from their device to another device

## Key features

### 7.13.0 — 2026-04-07

Features:
• Digital Flight Envelope
    • Crews can attach and manage digital documents directly within a flight. Photos of any paper document can be captured or selected on-device and archived together with the rest of the post-flight data upload
• Trip Log - RVSM Pre-checks section
    • A new Pre-checks section has been added to the Trip Log Departure tab. The section contains an RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum) checkbox whose value is submitted to the Post-flight Data API as part of the trip data upload
• Single Sign On (SSO)
    • Full SSO integration is available for operators using Community Portal identity. The authentication flow has been redesigned to streamline the login experience

The first view in the authentication flow is now the login page itself, presenting both “Sign in using SSO” and username/password options side by side. The separate company selection page has been removed; company code selection is now embedded within the manual auth inputs or the SSO login path
• OFP Author \ Dispatcher in Post-Data API
    • The post-flight data API upload now includes the dispatcher / OFP author name, extracted from the AuthorInformation block of the ARINC OFP XML.
• Flightscape Branding
	• “CAE eFlight Manager” has been changed to “Flightscape eFlight Manager”
• Night Landing
    • Changed "Night Flight" toggle to be more specific, now called "Night Landing" to indicate flights that have landed at night

Fixes:
•	The application occasionally could crash when attempting to load the SIG Wx MID weather layer
•	The Flight Level slider for the Wind at 5000 ft layer was constrained around the average flight level, making FL050 unselectable on high-altitude routes
•	Pinching the keyboard to compact mode in the Trip Log left the compact keyboard unresponsive to keypresses
•	A manually marked NOTAM was silently discarded when a NOTAM refresh was triggered before changes were published
•	The weather indication display was interpreting METAR 9999 visibility as ‘bad conditions’
•	When attempting to mark a NOTAM text a context menu could obscure ‘Mark text’ button
•	Entering multi-line text in the Trip Log ATIS and clearance boxes caused the second line to be cut in half and the third line to be invisible on iOS
•	The Loadsheet document list was not updated when new documents arrived from the server while the empty list view was already open
•	Non-dismissible modal dialogs could be accidentally closed by tapping in the gap between the dialog content and the action buttons

### 7.12.0 — 2025-09-30

Features:
- Weight & Balance:
    - The Sign Off module is split into Crew Fitness and Flight Acceptance in the new Sign Off section.
    - A new Weight & Balance module allows viewing and signing payload documents.
    - Expected documents can be configured to prevent signing if one of them (e.g., Loadsheet) has not been received.
    - Payload documents sent to the ingest will quickly arrive at their flight, triggering a "new documents" notification.
    - Signatures for payload documents can be accepted or rejected by the operator; the response should arrive in eFM quickly.
    - Operators can be configured to not require acceptance or rejection of payload document signatures, in which case they will automatically be treated as accepted upon signing.
    - A history of signature attempts, along with crew name, crew ID, accepted/rejected date, and signed documents, is available in the Trip Log Summary under the Signatures tab.
    - Unsigned latest documents are also shown in the Trip Log Summary.
- Flight Details:
	- The Flight Recalculation view has been redesigned to have all input fields in a separate section below the read-only tables.
	- The RCFP Popup can now include a more detailed fuel ladder section.
- Weather:
	- Runways now show both true and magnetic bearing.
	- Airport header now shows coordinates and magnetic variation.
Fixes:
- The notification bell in the flight management screen sometimes showed flight-specific information, while it should only show general device notifications.
- The Remarks section was not shown in the Critical Fuel module.
- For new flights, the app no longer shows "0001-01-01" as the last update timestamp for flight sync data categories that do not have data.
- The extra fuel breakdown info view now includes additional remarks again.
- The extra fuel breakdown is now shown in the online recalculation view as well.
- When the next/previous flight option is used to switch flights, the notification bell now shows entries for the correct current flight.
