Only concern is that “Maps” tab no longer works. Flights in progress are no longer shown in maps; it’s simply blank. Any remedy to earn that 5th star? ### 3/5 — What happened? *2023-08-05* I have used Flightview Plus for a longtime and really had no problems, until now. My wife recently flew to see her son, so naturally I entered her flight info, but lo and behold, the map section no longer works. I thought perhaps an upgrade was needed, so I reloaded Flightview Plus, so I thought. It was some other version, maybe Flightview 2023. The map section works but now I have to fight my way through a click bait ad that starts up and no easy way to get rid of it. It’s either live with no maps or time to move on. ### 3/5 — Good app *2023-06-11* It has always work for me. When flight are delayed it respond quickly, so far. I’ve been for years. But now I can’t see where the airplane is on the map. My son lives in Singapore for 3 years now and when he comes home I always use the map to see where his airplane is on the map and near landing. I reinstalled the app again to see if fix the problem but nothing. Please what can I do. ### 3/5 — Interface could be better *2023-05-18* App is slow to respond to key presses and is non-intuitive. I just set up two trips, saved them, exited, came back and they were missing. Went through the process again and see them on the iPad where they were created, but when I go to the program on my Droid, they’re MIA. I refreshed the display, and it’s been “updating” for 10 minutes with no joy. It’s an app I hate to love, and love to hate. ### 4/5 — If only the A/C registration number *2022-12-23, version 4.0.17* This is my primary app to keep track of flights. If it would provide the A/C registration number I’d have everything I need. Food for thought. ### 2/5 — Not supporting app it seems *2022-12-05, version 4.0.17* I have the paid version of flightview plus. I have had it for years. I have had a serious problem with this version for months. I have no map view. I have submitted multiple support tickets over the last few years. I get no responses. No answers. And most importantly, no fix! They have not updated the app in more than seven months. They do not seem to care about those that have supported them and paid them. I am forced to either use the free version and put up with lots of ads, or use the competitions’ apps. Get it together guys or lose another loyal customer. ### 2/5 — What happened? *2022-11-22, version 4.0.17* I used to love this app. Now it will not show the live map. What’s the deal? Can you fix it? ### 4/5 — Use it regularly! *2022-10-06, version 4.0.17* I like to track our family’s trips using Flightview Plus. It’s nice to have a central location for both current and past trips that we can refer to. Information is accurate and promptly presented. Suggestion for improvement? On the flights page, between the flight number/city and the scheduled arrival/departure lines how about adding “Current local time” so that we aren’t constantly having to calculate it or guess. I work for the airlines and it’s the greatest app out there… You can track inbound aircraft, everything else… Now they updated it and it’s more difficult to use, and has less information!! Why change it so much when they added features aren’t helpful & just slow it down & make it more difficult.?? So frustrating ### 4/5 — Great but ?? Tiny SERIF font?! Now charges subscription fees in a different app despite not updating the app to current standards. Lazy developers just raking in cash after doing no work. ### 1/5 — Persistent Phantom Alerts *2022-10-31, version 4.0.17* I don’t know what’s wrong with this app but I constantly get push notifications for flights that I’ve deleted from my trips. They may have been old flights, canceled trips, etc. but even after deleting them from the app I still get alerts for these flight segments. I’ve even logged in via the website and looked at “my trips” and the flights aren’t showing there either. Until they can fix that glitch this app is a 1-star for me - you need to do one thing guys and do it well. You’ve missed the mark. **update** 3 years later, this is STILL an issue. That feature has been discounted. ### 1/5 — Latest Update Has Issues *2022-05-22, version 4.0.17* After the latest upgrade map loading is either slow or fails and you cannot delete past trips. You can delete past flights, but the trips remain. The prior version was better. ### 1/5 — It’s not working *2019-12-09, version 3.6.2* I can’t see the departure or arrivals, I even send an email to the customer support, The email me back they said we have an ‏issue! we will fix it (soon) it’s been over month ago. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2019-04-03, version 3.6.2* I’m sitting in the airport, my flight is delayed, it is past the departure time, yet FlightView shows the status as scheduled. It’s easy to use and it calms this mama’s heart when it signals that the plane has landed and my kidlets are on the ground. ### 5/5 — The BEST! *2023-07-05* If there is a better App out there I’ve yet to find it. The only problem is the most recent update changed the font to a horrible looking one. Need the option to change it. Also would be great if they added dark mode.
