### 4/5 — 4 stars

*2026-08-20, version 4.10.1*

Amazing app is so useful! Only 4-star because I wish there was support for android so even my 2nd tier friends and family could enjoy it. :)

### 3/5 — Pesters

*2026-08-19, version 4.10.1*

How many times do I have to decline your purchase offer? Every single time I open the app? Seems excessive.

### 5/5 — An addicting app

*2026-08-19, version 4.10.1*

For anyone who flights, or must fly, or will fly, or likes flights: this is the app for them. Features you didn’t know you wanted. Design you didn’t know was possible.

### 5/5 — Awesome travel tool!

*2026-08-19, version 4.10.1*

Flighty is a great way to keep track of all your flights! It also usually tells you the delay before the airline does.

### 5/5 — great quality of life improvements

*2026-08-18, version 4.10.1*

love how easy it is to use and navigate flighty, and also the amount of information it gives is insane. i’ve had notifications for gates, landing, departure, and delays, sent to me before the airport even updates it itself. also amazing to track everywhere i’ve been in the world, and is a great place to go back and see fun statistics about all the flights you’ve ever taken across giur life.

### 4/5 — Wish I had this years ago.

*2026-08-18, version 4.10.1*

Love this app. Entertaining at the very least, but informative for the most part. Hopefully there’s more development to come like, seat maps (selection guides).

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2026-08-17, version 4.10.1*

I love this app! As a frequent flyer it is a perfect way for me to track my flights !

### 5/5 — Fast updates

*2026-08-17, version 4.10.1*

Flightly has been a great addition to my travel tools. It consistently updates faster than the airline app with gate changes, delays, and baggage claim number notifications. The two thinks I wish I could do is sync my flight app so I don’t have to manually add flights. I also would like for the ability to share my flight information with someone that has an android device.

### 5/5 — Exceptional

*2026-08-17, version 4.10.1*

They always have accurate and timely information. Thankful that there is an app where I can view the flight updates to see how things are going in the air. Only qualm is that I wish that this was available on android :)

### 5/5 — favorite app for all my flights :)

*2026-08-15, version 4.10.1*

I fly a lot for work and flighty is great for helping me to track my flights across several different airlines. And I do love the stats the app generates

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-08-15, version 4.10.1*

Love it and I use to share with my coworkers and company . Also I introduced it to many of my friends who travel. Really cool and we make it a competition

### 4/5 — Great app, prices steep for features

*2026-08-15, version 4.10.1*

If the subscription was like 2-3$ per month, I’d have no problem paying it. $5 per month doesn’t seem like a lot, but adds up. I fly frequently enough where I’d like to buy premium, but not enough to convince me that $60 per year is worth it. (Fly about 1-2 times per year)

### 5/5 — 24 hour tracking

*2026-08-15, version 4.10.1*

Very precise when showing you your flight 👍🏻

### 5/5 — A flight geeks best friend

*2026-08-14, version 4.10.1*

Absolutely love this app. The flight tracking scratches the right itch and I love the passport and level of detail of data

### 5/5 — Best app out there

*2026-08-14, version 4.10.1*

Legit BEST flight tracking app out there. They offer most things free and you can add your friends and family on the app. HIGHLY recommend you download and get rid of other apps

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It’s horrible on the Mac

*2026-08-22, version 4.10.1*

1. It’s using 2GB of RAM for a map - why?
2. It doesn’t seem to cache map tiles so switching zoom levels causes black tiles to appear while it downloads them again. Either that or it’s very slow to reload them from disk.
3. Scroll to zoom is bizarre, it always zooms towards the Arctic Circle, not the location where my cursor is pointing.

### 1/5 — How is this useful?

*2026-08-21, version 4.10.1*

Flighty says my flight leaving in 30 minutes, airport boards saying flight delayed for 90 minutes. In the updates only available for pro it shows they knew flight was delayed 2 hours ago, every time I click they asking me to pay for pro. They state you can use pro features on your first flight but is not allowing me to see updates. So I don’t understand what this app is for!!!

### 1/5 — Adding flight is hard

*2026-08-17, version 4.10.1*

The first thing I want is to add a flight but where? I got first leg in and now can’t add next. App needs help to be useful.

### 1/5 — Obnoxious Nagging

*2026-08-16, version 4.10.1*

The app continues to nag you about a review, and I like the app, but if you insist on a review, I’ll provide you a review just to shut you up!

### 1/5 — Used to love, now broken

*2026-08-16, version 4.10.1*

Have noticed in the last three weeks or so that the email forwarding functionality does not work at all anymore multiple flights that I’ve tried to forward return errors and yes, I do have all my email addresses logged in the app settings to receive.

### 1/5 — Bring back monthly

*2026-08-09, version 4.10.1*

Needs monthly subscription bringing back with calendar sync

### 1/5 — Great app, annoying developer

*2026-08-09, version 4.10.1*

Stop begging me to upgrade to pro, I can’t turn turn the notification for that off and it’s annoying. I love the app and was gonna upgrade anyways but not anymore

### 1/5 — Payments required

*2026-08-09, version 4.10.1*

This used to be free to use to track flights, get live updates, and new status of a flight. Now they are requiring payments just to get notifications. Definitely not work it.

### 1/5 — Nearly lost fight

*2026-08-08, version 4.10.1*

I read the great reviews and decided to use Flighty on my return flight from Turkey. Unfortunately, the flight tracking was completely unreliable and nearly caused me to miss my flight.

While I was sitting in the airport lounge, Flighty told me that my flight was delayed by 38 minutes. I relied on that information and stayed in the lounge, only to discover that the flight was actually on time. I ended up rushing to the gate and was extremely lucky not to miss it.

The biggest issue is that Flighty doesn’t appear to provide genuine GPS tracking. When it loses its internet connection, the aircraft position seems to be simulated or extrapolated rather than showing its actual location. At one point, while we were already approaching the airport, the app was showing the aircraft flying over the Red Sea!

For an app whose main selling point is accurate flight tracking, this is a serious problem. I wouldn’t rely on Flighty for real-time flight status or tracking, particularly when deciding whether you need to head to the gate.

### 1/5 — What does the money go towards?

*2026-08-07, version 4.10.1*

I’m paying a subscription so that you guys can import my flights. In the world of modern day software there’s very little reason for a flight to not be imported correctly. I forwarded you an email. I had all the flight information in it and it was not collected. Why am I even using the app?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Favorite App

*2026-08-25, version 4.10.1*

One of my absolute favorite apps on my phone, and I’m an app developer. Really excellent work from the Flighty team

### 5/5 — Pure Genius!

*2026-08-25, version 4.10.1*

### 5/5 — Flighty is great

*2026-08-24, version 4.10.1*

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-08-24, version 4.10.1*

This app is amazing. if you’re a frequent flier you would be crazy not to have it!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-23, version 4.10.1*

The greatest travel app of all time.

### 5/5 — Worth every penny of Pro

*2026-08-23, version 4.10.1*

I fly a lot (100K+ EQM/Year), and Flighty has become the app I check before I check the airline's own app. The notifications land first. Not by a few seconds either. Aircraft swaps, delays, gate changes, all of it shows up while the official app is still thinking about it.

The best example: I got an aircraft change and delay alert mid-flight. I rebooked from my seat and landed with a new plan already confirmed. Everybody else on that plane walked straight into a rebooking line 200 deep, waiting on gate agents who had already been chewed out by a dozen frustrated passengers. I walked past that line to my next gate.

Then there's the part I did not expect, which is that Flighty is fun. Seeing the tail number, the age of the airframe, the history of that specific plane, and finding out I've flown that same bird before scratches an itch I didn't know I had. It turns a travel day into something I actually look forward to instead of something I endure.

If you fly more than a few times a year, get it, and get Pro. Highly recommended.

Both iOS and macOS Apps are incredible.

Flighty if you read this please add MCP support soon.

Mahalo 🤙🏽

### 5/5 — Frustration Saver

*2026-08-20, version 4.10.1*

I seldom write app reviews but this is a real world example of how a good app can save time and frustration.

Delta put out an announcement yesterday afternoon waiving flight change fees due to anticipated bad weather, with my flight location being one of those affected.

A quick scan of Flighty gave me the confidence that my aircraft would be in place with clear weather for takeoff.

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2026-08-20, version 4.10.1*

Excelent

### 5/5 — Must have for frequent travelers

*2026-08-19, version 4.10.1*

Amazing. Great for yourself. Great for tracking friends family or associates flights in real time. Perfect app
