## What is Fling Theory?

Fling Theory is a psychedelic slingshot journey through space.

Drag the glowing ball back, let go, and watch it soar through fields of stars, past planets whose gravity bends every shot. Your target: the glowing pool at the top of the world. Match the splash, soak all three pools, and warp to the next level — where the planets have rearranged themselves.

EVERY SHOT IS A LIGHT SHOW Over a hundred thousand GPU particles paint your flight: shimmering bokeh trails, shockwave launches, and splashdowns that erupt in your ball's color.

RIDE GRAVITY, THEN BREAK IT Planets curve your shots — use them for trick slingshot orbits. Grab a golden lightning bolt mid-level, then tap while your ball is flying to fire a straight-line speed boost past everything.

THE UNIVERSE FIGHTS BACK From level 5, drifting asteroids wander into your flight paths. Smash them out of the way — it costs you the shot, but clears the lane.

• One-finger play: drag, release, done • Endless procedurally generated levels • Gravity-well trick shots and mid-flight boosts • No ads, no accounts, no data collection — just $0.49, forever

How far can you fling?

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-08-19

NEW: Homing rocket — from level 2, grab the pink rocket treasure, then tap mid-flight to launch a rocket that feels gravity 3.5× harder than your ball. Watch it whip around planets and smash them for +50 (the camera chases it to catch the fireworks) • NEW: Each level opens with a slow camera pan over the course ahead, so you can plan your first shot (tap to skip) • NEW: From level 5, courses stretch longer and longer — targets drift further away and more planets crowd the flight path • Polished visuals: the ball, pools, and target guides now have depth, shading, and texture • Under the hood: particle effects now react to up to 8 planets on the biggest courses
