Two things this time. A straight answer when the item is already yours, and your subscription working the way it should.

• TELL THE APP WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY ASKING. The search screen now asks whether you would buy it, already own it, or are just looking. Say you own it and you get SELL or PASS with what selling it actually nets you, instead of profit math that pretends you are buying it all over again. Say you are just looking and you get the market with no verdict attached.

• NO MORE SPENDING A SEARCH ON NOTHING. Leaving the price blank used to run the whole lookup and then hand back a screen with no verdict on it. The price is part of the question now, so you find out before it costs you anything.

• SUBSCRIBED BUT STILL TREATED LIKE A FREE ACCOUNT? FIXED. We found cases where someone paid for Pro and the app kept serving them the free tier anyway. That was our bug, not yours, and it is fixed on both the app and our servers. If it happened to you, reach us at fliporpass.com/support and we will make it right.

• PURCHASES NOW CONFIRM AND RECOVER ON THEIR OWN. Your subscription checks in with our server the moment you buy, retries on a flaky connection, and heals itself the next time you open the app instead of waiting for a reinstall.

• A SCAN WE CANNOT IDENTIFY NO LONGER COSTS YOU A VERDICT. Some barcodes are
not in any catalog. The app used to show an empty screen and quietly spend one
of your monthly searches on it. Now it says what happened, suggests typing the
product name instead, and gives the search back.

• A MISREAD SCAN IS CAUGHT BEFORE IT COSTS ANYTHING. If the camera garbles a
barcode, the app says so rather than hunting for a product that never existed.

• DELETE HISTORY IN BULK. Select as many past searches as you like and clear
them in one go.

• EVERY HISTORY ROW SAYS WHAT PRICED IT. A badge on each search shows whether
the verdict came from completed sales or from current listings.

• YOUR REMAINING SEARCHES ARE NOW ACCURATE. The counter reads the allowance
itself rather than your search history, so it matches what the app will
actually let you do.

• Support now links straight to the FAQ, plus stability fixes.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-11

Volume is the only thing Pro sells now. Everything else is free.

• EVERYTHING EXCEPT VOLUME IS NOW FREE. Real sold-price data, the full fee breakdown, pricing signals, the individual comps behind your verdict, and your complete search history. All of it on the free tier, with no upgrade prompt sitting in front of it.

• NEW ALLOWANCES. Free gets 5 verdicts a month. Pro gets 50. That is the whole difference. Monthly instead of daily, because a daily cap runs out halfway through a sourcing trip, which is exactly when you need the next answer.

• ANNUAL IS NOW $59.99, DOWN FROM $89.99. The data stopped being the paywall, so the price stopped pretending it was.

• TRY IT WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT. No signup wall. Run a verdict first, decide about an account after.

• SEE THE COMPS. The individual sold listings behind every verdict, price ordered, marked to show which ones landed inside your price.

• A TRUER PRICE. Verdicts now price on item plus shipping, and hold bundled multi-item sales out of the math. Both were quietly inflating what your item looked worth.

• ONE LAYOUT, IPHONE AND WEB. The verdict screen is the same on both now, so switching devices does not mean relearning where things are.

• HISTORY IS FREE AND UNCAPPED. Every search you have ever run, kept and searchable, on any tier. Delete any of it whenever you want.

• A SIMPLER APP. Hunt List, Your Edge, and Bought/Passed tagging are gone. Almost nobody used them and they made the app feel like homework. Every search you ran is still there, under History.
