I've tried many times and can't see the difference between the times when it saves a change and when it saves nothing. But after a recent change I change my rating to one star. After another recent update, it appears my one star review was removed and my 5 star review replaced! Come on Apple, what sort of review system allows developers to pick and chose! I maintain that this app has taken a nose dive after resent changes. The app wastes important screen real-estate. Some users like myself have more text. By wasting this screen space, the text becomes unreadable, where as before it was fine. So why change it. To put some useless front back buttons (which are redundant since u can simply tap the card to flip it) and a tic box, which is also fairly redundant since moving on to the next card suggests you've moved on any). I'm grumpy the app is not as good as it was, and disappointed that the dev can rebirth my previous review to suit themselves! Makes me doubt this whole review system! ### 2/5 — Not bad but room for improvement *2018-07-29, version 1.7.3* It works well for what it is but there is so much room for improvement in functionality. Do NOT buy the pro version if you already have lots of lists. The pro version doesn’t automatically import your previously made lists and to transfer them is an absolute nightmare. Current issue I hope the fix is: when typing on the cards, can't see the bottom line so if there is an auto correct or typo, you can't edit it. ### 2/5 — HATE ADS!!! *2013-03-10, version 1.4* The app was great until the new update with ads. Now screen is cut off on iPad and ads now appear that we're never there before. Too bad, discovered this when I recommended this to a friend and his was all screwed up. I decided to update mine and whammo, no longer working properly. DO NOT update, it's a plow to have advertisements added and make you purchase $.99 to have them removed or pay $ 3.99 to get the pro version to have features returned. This is NOT a $ 3.99 app, trust me. Should have stayed free! ### 2/5 — An Ok App *2011-11-09, version 1.0* Usually ppl think of young children when it comes to flash/flip cards. It's a good app for those who are learning English and older students, but not as much for younger children. My daughter is still learning how to read & write, I thought this app would help her. But learning in Spanish isn't a big thing here, neither are Capitol cities - til she's older. I have found the learning words apps, but still searching for a proper flash card app - aimed @ the usual ages (under 8yrs at least). On the plus side, u can create ur own cards and add photos to go with it - unfortunately it flips back to front - so the flips seem like sentences than words. Eg Hello *Flip* Friends (with photo).
