Activate a focus session and FlipMode transforms your iPhone into a flip phone. Every app and website is blocked at the OS level — not hidden behind a timer you can dismiss, but actually locked using Apple's Screen Time technology. The only things that work are calls, messages, and FlipMode itself.

Choose your session type:

Timed: Set a duration from 15 minutes to 8 hours. Your phone unlocks when time is up.
Open-ended: No timer. End the session when you're ready.
Scheduled: Set recurring focus blocks on specific days and times.
When the urge to check your phone hits, FlipMode's speed bumps create intentional friction:
