### 2/5 — Useful but flaky

*2026-07-22*

The idea is good and the app has potential. Very useful when it works. But it’s flaky: servers go down, scanning works sometimes and not other times, the UI is confusing (can’t ever select PAL or JP for games), opening the history triggers a rescan that uses credits every time, and the search field has significant lag between when I touch it and when it’s available for input. The app feels janky overall, I wonder if it’s not vibe coded. I’m reluctant to buy a subscription because I’m not sure I can depend on the app working when I need it.

### 2/5 — Good but not great

*2026-07-19, version 3.5.1*

Purchased an annual subscription in late April which was working well until mid June. I’ve mainly used this app to resell DVDs. Since then, the app has not been very helpful. I did not change any of my settings (double checked this) and it is now flagging “Great Flip” often for items only worth a few dollars. I usually do a manual search for any items with this flag and previously, 8 times out of 10, the flag was accurate. Now it’s the opposite. The cause for this is likely the data being incomplete as I noticed it isn’t pulling in all or most of the eBay data which is skewing the accuracy of the great flip flag. The data card also now shows inaccurate pictures or titles on many instances. I appreciated the ability to be able to click onto the photo I took and have the app highlight the item which the data is for, but even this has become inaccurate. The rectangular box often misses the title or doesn’t appear at all. This app also consumes a lot of battery. I’ll continue to use the app as I’m already tied in for a year, but may not renew. The stars are being awarded for the first couple of months of use where the app was helpful. Now it just feels like it is creating more work by flagging items incorrectly.

### 2/5 — Over inflated pricing and comps

*2026-07-09, version 3.5.0*

Nearly all items I have scanned on the fully paid version of this app are super inflated in actual selling value. the eBay sold comps are 30-40% higher when shown from the Flippr app and very misleading. Going to eBay to the same item it doesn’t show the same sold amounts that the app shows. Good scanning tool for identifying items but don’t trust the values they are WAY off. Told me a product sold for $55 but eBay shows the same product actually sold for $8-12. Not worth the cost of subscription for that much inaccuracy.

### 4/5 — Good app but should be changed

*2026-06-21, version 3.4.1*

Functions well but there is a new introductory section that’s tedious and does nothing. I hope the developers revert it to how it used to be.

### 1/5 — 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

*2026-06-12, version 3.3.27*

check the real reviews.

### 1/5 — Incorrect data and slow load times

*2026-06-09*

The idea of the app is brilliant, but the execution of the Flippr app is bad, it does not produce accurate sell through data and requires you to manually check each result through eBay, about 1in10 are correct. The loading time of results is extremely slow depending on your mobile phone internet speed. I think the app is at an early beta stage and not ready for public release. I have paid for the service and emailed support but didn’t get a response to my issues.

### 1/5 — Inaccurate comparison. Utterly useless

*2026-06-06, version 3.3.25*

The app does not even remotely show accurate sold comparisons and is very misleading. It’s a huge waste of time and not good tool for resellers.

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2026-06-05, version 3.3.25*

This app has a nice intuitive design and does it's job well. It helped me find a $36 book with a 60% sell through rate in a stack of books at the thrift store. I only paid $3 for it and it sold within 5 hours of listing! I would have never thought to pick it up before this app.

### 1/5 — To expensive

*2026-06-04, version 3.3.25*

24.99 is super expensive to maybe find something valuable

### 2/5 — Why no free features?

*2026-06-02, version 3.3.25*

There needs to be a free 2-5 photos a day feature. If the app actually works well it would make people the money to purchase the full app. While also gaining huge respect. I refuse to subscribe to anything with a free trial.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Didn’t work as advertised

*2026-08-17*

Doesn’t pull data correctly from outside America

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-07-28, version 3.5.3*

This might be one of the worst scanning apps I have ever used. It’s constantly wrong. Not only with the description of the item but then gives you a lowball estimate based on nothing. Scanned the same item in 2 other apps and it was way more accurate. I wouldn’t trust this app as far as I could throw it.

### 1/5 — Totally fake

*2026-07-16, version 3.5.0*

I downloaded it and snapped a pic of a few rows of DVDs I own. It told me SEVERAL of my DVDs were worth $20 or more! I KNEW that to be a lie bc I resell DVDs on EBay and know, typically what they’re worth. I clicked on the listings that said it had sold for $24 and in the actual eBay listing it showed sold for $4. Went to another one and the discrepancy was about the same. Almost $20 off!!! I don’t know how this is legal but this app is lying. Deleted it right away

### 1/5 — 30/mo

*2026-07-15, version 3.5.0*

Too expensive when you may not even break even on cd flips to pay for this app. 1 out of 80 cds might be in demand.

TO EXPENSIVE NOT COMPETITIVE.

### 1/5 — bad changes

*2026-07-09, version 3.5.0*

The app was really great at first but started doing updates that changed that by stopping the ability of scanning existing photos and not being able to search missing games that the app did not scan

### 1/5 — Not as advertised

*2026-07-08, version 3.5.0*

I’ve scanned 703 items in the last two days. All items have been CDs or DVDs.
The app has misidentified in excess of 75% of the items scanned, and when it did correctly identify an item, the pricing and STR info was off by as much as 50 to 80%.
Conceptually, this is a great tool. However, the inconsistency in flat out bad information will not allow me to use it for my business.

### 1/5 — Not working. Asking to pay

*2026-06-21, version 3.4.1*

It allowed me to get free 7 days but when I tried to go forward it asking me to pay. So free trial not working.

### 1/5 — Just Awful

*2026-06-16, version 3.3.27*

The onboarding/sign up process is long and ridiculous if you just want to see the interface and look around before you try the system. The force you into prompts that do not even apply, idk what the thought process but it’s absurd.

Fast forward to finally GET TO login only to be sent a verification code via email, there is nothing saying that a verification is being sent to you email, but ok I assumed.

Click the link in the email to “verify” that sends me to your website not to login just the website. When I go back to the app can’t login why who knows no error code was given, no wrong password or email not found just nothing.

So I’ve invested 15-mins of my time to login to an app just to see if a book or some old games I have could make me a few bucks. Instead I’ve given my email out to a company who will prob sell my data with no real benefit.

If Zero was a star I would give it that just for the sign up process.

### 1/5 — paywalled.

*2026-06-15, version 3.3.27*

the amount of garbage questions you need to flip through and answer...just to get the end to find everything is behind a paywall? shady snd wasting my time. never downloading again.

### 1/5 — Bugs

*2026-06-13, version 3.3.27*

App will not open keeps restarting then asking me to pay again

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-25, version 3.5.22*

Great app

### 5/5 — Love this tool!

*2026-08-20, version 3.5.21*

This tool helps me with my ability to quickly identify items that might sell on eBay for a certain price. It quickly weeds out items I don’t need to look at. It has a great feature I haven’t used yet that allows me to list straight to EBay. Was it worth the money….definitely. It has cut my searching time in half. Still spending hours searching, but at least it’s not weeks. Is it perfect? No, but they are doing regular updates to improve the app. Also quick to respond to issues. 💕💕💕
