Ich mag sehr, dass man ein Widget hat und die Vokabel somit üben kann ohne überhaupt die App zu öffnen. Die App ist sehr einfach und übersichtlich gestaltet. Dennoch hätte ich ein paar Verbesserungswünsche: 1. Einstellungsmöglichkeit, dass bei den Widgets sowohl die Rückseite als auch die Vorderseite zuerst angezeigt werden kann. Aktuell zeigt das Widget automatisch die Vorderseite an und man kann es nicht umstellen 2. das abwechselnde abfragen von vorder und Rückseite funktioniert in der App nicht. Entweder wird immer zuerst die Vorderseite abgefragt oder immer die Hinterseite. 3. eine KI Funktion wäre toll. Dann könnte man zb eine vokabeltabelle abfotografieren und die ki erstellt daraufhin eigenständig die Karteikarten ### 4/5 — Interesting *2024-08-30* I went to see how this work. It is nice once you figure out how to create a card. It was not easy. Unfortunately it only has one widget and it is very large. Gefällt mir wirklich gut. Ein Ding, das ich noch vermisse (es ist das einzige): Ich wüde mir wünschen, alle Themen aus einem Stapel oder einem Level gleichzeitig lernen zu können. ### 4/5 — (Almost) The best flash cards app on the App Store *2023-10-25* Good features with a slick app look. Another good thing is the app is available on the apple watch but has some issues. Overall this app is almost the best flash cards app on the app store. However, there are a few issues that could be fixed? - Give us an option to give us a preview of how our flash cards would look on the apple watch, while editing on the iPhone. - Give us more customisation on the flash cards as the text is far too small to view in. - Give us the availability of changing text size, text tools etc. - Maybe give another option of still allowing us to view flash cards even if it’s repeated as we may still need to learn flash cards. This app is awesome, just needs to fix these few issues and it would be even better 🙌. I would love to give it 5 stars next time. ### 4/5 — Helpful, *2023-10-08, version 6.7.5* I like this app, and I like how there is basically a version of it for every device. Having it on the Apple Watch means any spare minutes you have during the day can be used for some quick practice. I like the simple swipe left/right interface on the watch, it looks good and works very well. I wish there was a way to apply center align as markup, or if there was a way to apply it to all cards at once. I just finished center aligning 200 cards... Painful and time consuming. Now, the bad part: the markup does not apply to the Apple Watch app and shows up as hashtags and asterisks, lol... Dammit I put a lot of work into those cards. I'm realizing that a solution where my data is stored as images would have worked much better. I tested one card in the Apple Watch app and it looks good... I guess I'm redoing all my cards as images... ### 3/5 — Konstruktive Kritik *2023-09-25* Zuerst einmal: der Preis ist total angemessen und ich bin froh, dass es noch Entwickler gibt, die KEIN Abomodell anbieten. Top! Was mir beim Arbeiten mit Flippy (Desktop App) aufstößt sind eigentlich nur Kleinigkeiten, allerdings wären 4 Sterne (noch) unangemessen: 1) Beim Erstellen einer neuen Karteikarte fände ich es viel besser statt dem Zwischenbildschirm, wo ich auswähle ob ich Vorder- oder Rückseite bearbeiten kann, wenn man einfach beides auf einem Screen hätte. Also statt der Markdownvorschau lieber die Rückseite oder vielleicht auch nebeneinander. Das würde eine Menge Klicks ersparen! 2) Wäre gut, wenn man die Standard-Schriftgrößen für Fließtext, #, ##, ### usw. selbst vorab in den Einstellungen definieren könnte 3) Das Ausklappmenu bei Stapel habe ich anfangs nicht verstanden, da es auf diese Art und Weise nirgendow vorkommt. Bis heute tue ich mir damit schwer. Das kann man aus UX-Sicht bestimmt besser lösen. 4) einige Knöpfe sind visuell nicht gut gewählt und liegen verstreut über das GUI. Besser fände ich eine Art Werkzeugleiste am oberen Rand des Fensters, wo man alles nötige übersichtlich findet. Ansonsten macht das Arbeiten mit Flippy Spaß und es funktioniert einwandfrei! **Developer response:** Vielen Dank für das Feedback! Arbeite bereits an der Umsetzung. ### 5/5 — Hätte ich die App nur früher entdeckt! *2022-09-19* Habe lange Zeit die großen anderen Apps benutzt. Durch Zufall jetzt diese hier entdeckt. Unfassbar, wie gut alles funktioniert und ich verstehe nicht, dass diese App nicht mehr Aufmerksamkeit bekommt. Aber wirkliche Verbesserungen im erstellen der Karten notwendig. *2022-07-18* Ich finde die App „Flippy“ grundsätzlich sehr gelungen. Allerdings finde ich Markdown manchmal ziemlich anstrengend. Grundsätzlich könnte man sich hier sehr viel Inspiration holen von den Apps StudySmarter und Spacify. ### 5/5 — Better than Anki IMO *2022-05-01, version 5.3.1* This is an excellent app & I’m really happy to have discovered it. I’ve found it to be better than Anki, with a better UX & more reliable functionality. Once you get a deck sorted, it’s super easy to use & handoff across all your devices. I was able to do a little practice on my watch! Overall, I’m glad I got in with Flippy early on. Also, the flash cards are extremely hard to create and study with! ### 1/5 — straight up doesn't work *2021-02-03* In order to pull in data for your flashcards, you have to save as a CSV in UTF-16. I have tried every conceivable program, from Excel to Numbers to Libre Office to online reformatting tools. I even downloaded the example file the program recommends, deleted the data, filled it in with my own, and tried to import. My only complaints with Flippy are that the flash card deck Colors are too limited (I want black, for example) and that there are no Apple Watch complications (I have to open up the app from the app menu to use it. Durch das Spaced Repitition System kann man der Vergessenskurve beim Lernen perfekt entkommen. Der Entwickler ist einer der besten die ich kenne, durch seine ständige Weiterentwicklung der App, aber vor allem durch seinen treuen Kundensupport. Er antwortet blitzschnell und gibt das beste für seine Kunden. Das Pro Abo ist eine wunderbare Erweiterung, die das Lernen einwandfrei macht. Besonders ist die Watch App da man hierdurch auch auf seinem Handgelenk lernen kann. Hier fände ich es toll, wenn die Linien oder Kästchen erhalten blieben. Aber es geht natürlich auch super ohne.
