They have lots of drawing options to choose from or you can just draw it yourself. Also has Great support , sent an email with a question and got a reply within a hour. Yes it’s a 5 Star. ### 5/5 — Excellent Whiteboard Animator *2023-11-30* At first I thought that this app was lacking in the ability for the artist to specify the camera position at each section. But then I realized that there is a way for the artist to do this. —— I would have deducted a star for that feature being not-so-obvious and easy-to-find - but since this app is so many lightyears beyond anything else out there for its purpose, I decided not to do that deduction. —— Similar forgiveness was necessary for the fact that there seems to be a bug in the are of creating my own artwork libraries — and no apparent way to control the motion of the drawing-hand on art that I import. But once again - this app is _still_ lightyears beyond any of its competitors. ### 5/5 — Excellent App *2023-10-16, version 1.4.1* It is a very good aap to create educational videos. After solving the problem of downloading graphics, I faced another problem which is the issue of writing in Arabic language. Previously, I used to write from top to bottom, but now the pen is writing from bottom to top. This is a problem in the new updates, as it was not present in the old ones. Therefore, I ask you to fix this problem, otherwise this application is not suitable for me as I write in Arabic language." **Developer response:** The image bundle is shared from Dropbox, and it will be easier to download if you have a Dropbox account. If you don't have one, you can follow the steps in the tutorial to download it. After downloading, move the downloaded zip file to the correct location, "On My iPhone/Describir/Describr", and then unzip the zip file. You will get a bundle file, and the complete and correct path is "On My iPhone/Describir/Describr/videoscribe_v1.bundle". It was great! Now most of my scenes looks pixilated!!!! This app is garbage. ### 1/5 — Taken money without permission! *2025-05-28, version 1.7.6* Be careful with this!! I used the FREE version only, at no point did I use their ‘pro’ version. I absolutely did not sign up to this, yet I’ve had £14.99 taken from my bank. I’ve had to investigate what it was at 4am and eventually discovered it was from this app! I only used it once! It does not appear in my Apple subscriptions, as I make a point of checking if anything is due for renewal and it’s not even there! Just takes your money! Absolute SCAM. I’m reporting this app. If I was ever going to sign up to pro, I won’t now. Cannot be trusted whatsoever. GIF animation is supported now, please update the app to v1.1.8. ### 2/5 — Badly implemented *2024-02-24* Why the flip, after I draw something, does this app make me drag it BACK to the size-and-position that I initially drew it on? Can’t it just have it by-default placed in the same location where I drew it? What’s UP with that?!?!? All this is in addition to an in _general_ cumbersome interface. I gave one star beyond the minimum (i.e. two stars) because there’s not a lot of other options for creating whiteboard animations on an iPad — but they really need to do better than this. ### 3/5 — Too many bugs *2025-02-27* App is great but not usable , there are too many bugs. 1) Camera mode can’t be fixed , every time new image or text added camera is automatically zoomed out and text becomes so small and can’t be read. 2) No default timer settings , like every time you set hand animation timing to 0.5 seconds or 1 seconds then it auto rest back to default time and makes project very time consuming as need to set it everytime with every object. Unable to do long projects of 10-15 minutes in it. 3) Audio syncing issue: very hard to edit or rearrange audio or voice over . Overall great concept but need lots of work to make it work practically. ### 3/5 — Functionality stopped responding. *2024-12-12, version 1.7.2* I purchased the app a while ago. I have been trying to contact support repeatedly in search of an answer regarding the “import custom fonts” not working. But have received no answer. As they have not answered, I am trying via here —because maybe the support email is not working? It competes with the most powerful, most famous desktop apps leading the category. On a head to head, I choose Flixcribir, even though I have 2 of the top names already running on my desktop. The only advice I would give the developer, humbly, is that the update that introduced independent camera instances complicated things. It complicated the ease of use and flow, and complicated the interface and canvas view. If that feature could be rolled back to where it was before that update, I think the app would be even better. However that goes, I’m still a huge fan.
