### 2/5 — Not as advertised / old tech

*2026-08-21, version 3.8.70*

Does not show as available on ChargePoint app. even though it shows available on the Flo app, and confirmed physically is available. Flo requires prepayment in excess of need. Won’t accept credit card tapping for payment.

### 3/5 — Expensive!

*2026-08-14, version 3.8.70*

Electrical cost per kWh is way, way too high!!

### 2/5 — Zéro service à la clientèle

*2026-08-08, version 3.8.70*

### 2/5 — Com’on

*2026-08-05, version 3.8.70*

Never remembers my login

### 3/5 — HOOPS TO JUMP THROUGH

*2026-08-03, version 3.8.70*

A struggle every time. I only like credit card chargers.

### 3/5 — Almost perfect

*2026-07-08, version 3.8.70*

The app works well and lets you easily start a charge. The only downside from truly making this app perfect is the ability your card to your card a simply pay for your charge sessions as you go. Reloadable “cards” seems so antiquated and old. ChargePoint lets me pay as I go and I would use that app exclusively if it didn’t take longer for that app to show the most recent status of Flo chargers.

### 1/5 — Rip-Off

*2026-07-05, version 3.8.60*

What a rip-off! $4/hour is absurd. And $4 for idle is even worse! Do you really think someone is coming to use the charger from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM after my car finishes charging? I understand charging idle time during the day, but in the middle of the night?!? Again, what a rip-off!

### 1/5 — Predatory pricing, no pay per use

*2026-06-29, version 3.8.60*

Many stations dont work, and app requires minimum money load, which is predatory pricing tactics. Its 2026, pay per use should be minimum option. Canada is stuck in old ages of companies using govt subsidies to loot people. Most chargers are slow speed (like home chargers) and need minimum money load.

### 5/5 — Carte Wallet

*2026-06-27, version 3.8.60*

Bonjour je n’ai pas trouvé comment ajouter la carte dans le Wallet du téléphone

### 5/5 — Great Place

*2026-06-25, version 3.8.60*

As a community college John A Logan is leading the way in this area nurturing the adoption of EV FOR ALL.
Thank you.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t Login or Sign Up

*2026-08-28, version 3.8.70*

I’ve had a Flo account for years and now I can’t sign in. I’m always receiving an “An unknown error happened.” I also can’t create a new account. Deleting and reinstalling the app doesn’t work. Customer service for the charger or app is also non-existent. I was on hold over an hour. The callback feature also doesn’t work.
Until they resolve their issues, I’d avoid them entirely.

### 1/5 — Application ne se connecte pas

*2026-08-28, version 3.8.70*

### 1/5 — Unable to login

*2026-08-28, version 3.8.70*

Unable to unlock my home charger because your app wont let me log in.

Resetted the password throught your website. Still not able to log in. When trying to reset password again now it shows another red message.

Tried to contact you but you are closed. This is really bad. Ai bot is not good customer service.

Now i can’t use my home charger.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2026-08-27, version 3.8.70*

Now can’t sign in, app just shut down and now it shows unknown error please try again later.
It’s been later still doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Worst ever

*2026-08-21, version 3.8.70*

I’ve been standing here for half an hour trying to figure out how to charge my car

### 1/5 — Broken and Hasn’t Been Fixed

*2026-08-14, version 3.8.70*

Don’t bother with this app. It will constantly send you to spots where another car is parked but not charging. Here’s why:

A few months ago flo switched to shut off charging when an account runs out of money. The problem: they mark the charger available when this happens. But really there’s another car parked in the spot with the charger locked in, not charging.

The effect is you have no idea now when a charger is really available.

Don’t try calling support—they will waste your time by not understanding it’s their service that’s broken by design.

### 1/5 — Stop asking me for feedback

*2026-08-09, version 3.8.70*

I’m tired of every app asking me to leave me a review. Just let me use the app in peace

### 1/5 — A ameliorer

*2026-08-04, version 3.8.70*

Les bornes sont souvent defectueuses. Bcp de frictions dans le processus.

### 1/5 — It’s like it’s the year 2006.

*2026-07-25, version 3.8.70*

Federated identities exist. Use them. Making me create another user account and yet another hackable password is an obsolete step. The very fact that I need to even use an app to charge my car is beyond the pale but EV users seem to have low expectations.

### 1/5 — App sucks

*2026-07-13, version 3.8.70*

We hate apps

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Poor UX

*2026-08-17, version 3.8.70*

This is a great system of hardware and software—in theory. In practiced the UX is very poor. The designers of this system should be forced to use it on a rainy night

### 5/5 — A Charging Friend

*2026-08-01, version 3.8.70*

I’ve been broke for a while, but now I’m back stronger than ever. I say this slightly hypocritical but not quite. My Flo account at present is $3.50, whilst my coffers fill. I’ll update my wallet later. It’s this juxtaposition however that bares relevance to this short tale. I was down in a way I wish on no one. Every move turned to dust, but me being me I use deterrence as fuel for perseverance. I took full advantage of one of the greatest active business marketing/customer care ideologies in America. To allow your customer base to a full charge and actively entrust them on negative accounts is not only kind, it is business ethics from up on high. I respect this company and for me to be able to respect a company in America is the greatest honor that can be bestowed in this hyena-like business environment. If not for this “overcharging” gift and a few other acts of clemency during the past three years I withhold that I would’ve emerged regardless, but not as I am now. These “little breaks” help. Thank you and I’m sure the community thanks you.

### 5/5 — love the new fast chargers

*2026-07-30, version 3.8.70*

The new fast flo are so easy to operate, seem to be easy to find and charge quickly for a decent price! i like them way more than the tesla super chargers

### 5/5 — Stations available everywhere

*2026-07-06, version 3.8.70*

I really like that they have many stations everywhere that I need them! Thanks Flo!

### 5/5 — Best experience

*2026-07-03, version 3.8.60*

The app is easy to use. In few steps you start charging your vehicle and what makes it even better for me is that they have multiple stations in my community. They also have an excellent and fast customer service. I had few issues with some authorizations and in less than 24 hrs they sorted it out.
