It looks good and I think it has potential, but at the moment I wouldn’t reccomend it **Developer response:** Sorry it felt rough. 2.4 is on the store now and should feel less broken. If something is still off, tell me which screen and I'll look. ### 4/5 — Cannot read flac data *2026-05-27, version 2.3* Cannot read flac songs so cannot know the end time thus when song ends it get stuck and doesn’t go the next song Moved to musiver and will be coming back once fixed since I like the UI ### 3/5 — I’m sure it’s good *2026-05-17, version 2.2* Unfortunately requires an HTTPS connection, which is overkill for a private network that just uses HTTP. I’m sure it’s a great client, but the Navidrome server is specifically not mine and setting this up is out of scope. Unfortunate limitation. ### 3/5 — Good Navidrome client but no AirPlay support *2026-05-09* AirPlay doesn’t work, throbber on rendering device (an LG TV in my case) keep spinning forever. **Developer response:** AirPlay is in the player. Some TVs just sit on a spinner, and HomePod is grey for a few people. That's a real bug. I haven't fixed it yet. ### 4/5 — Love the app. But one feature request. Please add playback for the Apple Watch app *2026-03-28* I love this app and use it everyday and one feature that would be useful for me is to play music on my Apple Watch **Developer response:** The Watch app remotes the iPhone. It doesn't play sound on the Watch, so the phone has to be nearby. On-Watch playback isn't in there yet. ### 2/5 — Doesn't support LAN navidrome *2026-03-08* Developer seems to be stubborn not to support HTTP (no S) to local network addresses, and blaming Apple for that, while there is a way to enable it. The only workaround is to provide local ip directly, but it doesn't work for dynamic local ips, obviously. **Developer response:** Sorry about the HTTP wall. It's Apple ATS, not me being difficult: HTTP only works with a typed private IP (192.168.x or 10.x). Tailscale 100.x and hostnames, including MagicDNS, get blocked. I'm not turning ATS off. Easiest Tailscale fix is `tailscale serve` or `tailscale cert`, then use the `*.ts.net` https URL. Subnet-router onto a 192.168 or 10 address works too, or Caddy in front. I wrote it out here: https://github.com/kepelet/flo/discussions/51 ### 4/5 — Almost, almost *2025-12-26, version 1.7* It works But Sometimes it crashes, to me it happened when searching a song in the song submenu, then when i closed and reopened the app it showed a black screen, to fix i had to reinstall the app. Downloads shouldn’t have a whole section of the application to themselves, i think it should be a small section in the homepage, since cached songs are only there to keep the possibility of listening to music even when offline. The library section should be on par with the home section, also, it needs a lot more options to search for music, i mean, genres, recently added albums, recently played albums, favourites (songs, albums, artists), there’s too much friction when navigating to the song or album i want but don’t quite remember Final note, why the hell are images low res, i worked so hard to get high quality covers for my library and i can’t enjoy them? C’mon… Aside from these four points, the app works, but you must remember to setup the save login info, otherwise you’ll have to login every time you open the app. Lyrics i presume are WIP I hope all i wrote will become obsolete and the app will work flawlessly, it gives a spin to the Navidrome iOS music player which Amperfy doesn’t have, since it’s so boring and “Just Works” ### 4/5 — Good so far *2025-12-24* The only thing that I see that needs to be added is that I want to be able to use the app with Tailscale with out having to go through the hassle of enabling https but it will not let me because it is not considered a private network please fix this **Developer response:** Sorry about the HTTP wall. I quickly went through the process of connecting to my Navidrome server and want to share my experience. Review: This app seems to have all major functionality, and I really like the ui. I would love to test more to see how the app handles the listening activity data because the home page is quite aesthetically pleasing. That said, I had some qualms that keep me from daily driving this client. One was the lack of shuffle options. I only found the shuffle button in the currently playing UI. I’d prefer to shuffle the queue without having to select a track to start with. Another issue was that the currently playing UI seems bugged on my device. I am using an iPhone 13 on ios 18, and the UI stretches off the screen. These two issues, though small, are enough for me to look for a different client. ### 4/5 — Great UI, few functional tweaks would be ideal *2025-11-20, version 1.7* Super straightforward and clean UI, lots to like, I have a couple suggestions that I would love to see. - Shuffle play button more easily accessible. - When shuffle play is selected, the new shuffled order isn’t reflected in the play next screen. - I believe the artist section is against the wrong metadata tag. Force quit if that does nothing. This one is money once you get it set up with an https connection. I recommend using Caddy on your server.
