I used this just to download YouTube videos when my WiFi was cut off, or when I wanted to download adult videos when I wanted to watch them again. Float is a life saver! Cancelled immediately. It assumes you need a vpn. Not sure what was causing the slowness. I was hoping it would be better than my existing app, which is neither slow, and actually is very clear ( video saver +) - except it didn't have a perfect copy/export feature. I am going back to that. When you cram too many features into one app what results is confusion. But we need simplicity- not easy to achieve.
