## What is Flocas?

The more tasks you have, the easier it is to lose sight of what matters next.
Flocas is a to-do and task management app built to keep your next action clear, so you can stay focused and keep moving toward your goals.

Capture ideas quickly in Backlog, move only the tasks that matter now into Main, and keep your priorities visible at all times. By limiting how many tasks sit in Main, Flocas helps you avoid overload and maintain focus. You can pause tasks in Hold, complete them when finished, and review your progress later in Archive.

Key features

Organize tasks across Backlog, Main, Hold, and Archive
Keep your next actions visible with multiple home display modes
Set deadlines and quickly spot overdue tasks
Get daily summary reminders, deadline alerts, and Main task notifications
Automatically return paused tasks from Hold to Backlog
Review completed tasks and track progress with a completion heatmap
Export your data as JSON or CSV
Available in Japanese and English

Great for people who want to

keep priorities clear
reduce time lost deciding what to do next
organize work, personal projects, or study plans
stay aligned with goals before giving instructions to AI

Flocas is not a task app for piling up endless to-dos.
It is a focused task organizer designed to reduce drift, keep your next step visible, and help you move forward with less friction.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.2 — 2026-05-03

Fixes
- Fixed an issue where "Show All" in completed tasks was capped at 9 items instead of showing all tasks
- Fixed heatmap legend colors displaying incorrectly for levels 3 and 4
- Fixed user feedback text being cleared even when submission failed
- Fixed language localization not applied to the archive deletion confirmation dialog
- Fixed missing movedToUrgentAt and parentTaskId fields in CSV export
Improvements
- Improved localization of error messages in the feedback submission flow

### 1.3.1 — 2026-04-02

Unified the completion action for main task cards
We standardized the completion action for main task cards. The “Move to Main” button (arrow icon), which appeared in special contexts, has been removed and replaced with the same complete (checkmark) action across all contexts. This makes the button behavior more consistent and helps prevent user confusion.

Improved spacing in the Home screen layout
We added space below the main context card, creating more appropriate separation from the elements at the bottom of the screen and improving visibility while scrolling.

### 1.3 — 2026-04-01

Added Emergency Task Mode
You can now register tasks as Emergency. From the mode switcher on the home screen, you can quickly enter and manage emergency tasks.

New Backlog Organization Screen
You can now set both Effort (Light / Medium / Heavy) and Urgency (High / Medium / Low) for backlog tasks. Tasks can be filtered using an Effort × Urgency matrix, and reordered via drag and drop.

Task Completion and Follow-up Creation
When marking a task as completed, you can now create a follow-up task at the same time. Parent-child relationships are recorded, and a breadcrumb trail at the top of the screen allows smooth navigation between related tasks.

Improved Home Screen Display Modes
The TODO list can now be switched between Compact and Single-line display modes, and the selected mode is preserved the next time the app is launched. In addition, overdue tasks are now automatically shown at the top of the list.

Improved Usability of the Task Details and Settings Screens
The action buttons on the task details screen have been redesigned into an icon-based grid layout. A time picker for specifying notification times has been added to the settings screen, and the archive threshold for completed tasks has been extended to 2 days.

### 1.2 — 2026-03-31

New backlog organization screen
You can now set each task’s effort and urgency separately. On the backlog screen, tasks can also be reordered with drag and drop, and visual signal indicators (TaskSignalDot) make each task’s status easy to understand at a glance.

Prioritized display for overdue tasks
Overdue tasks are now automatically shown at the top of both the backlog and home screens. This helps prevent missed tasks and makes deadline management easier.

Improved action buttons on the task details screen
The action buttons on the task details screen have been redesigned into an icon-based grid layout, making them more intuitive to use.

More precise notification time settings
You can now set notification times more precisely by the hour in the settings screen. A close button has also been added to the header for improved usability.

Terminology unified from “Hold” to “Wait”
Across the entire app, the term “Hold” has been standardized to “Wait” for better consistency. In addition, the archive period after task completion has been extended to 2 days.

### 1.1 — 2026-03-27

Contribution Heatmap Added — Implemented a GitHub-style activity heatmap on the Archive Screen, allowing users to visually review their task completion history (supports Japanese and English).

Swipe Task to Backlog — You can now easily move a task to the backlog by swiping left on a MainTaskCard.

Enhanced Deadline Management — Deadlines can now be set and changed across all task statuses, and overdue tasks display a visual indicator. A calendar picker enables intuitive deadline setting.

Improved Completed Task Display — Completed tasks on the Home Screen are now shown in a multi-row layout, with a "Show More / Collapse" toggle to control how many are visible. The number of title lines on task cards also adjusts based on focus mode.

Normalized New Task Sort Order — normalizeStateOrders is now publicly exported, ensuring newly added tasks are always inserted in the correct position. Minor UX improvements have also been made, including adding a close button to the settings screen.
