## What is FlockEye?

FlockEye enables multiple iOS devices to capture photos or videos simultaneously in Instant Take Mode.

In this mode, all captured content is collected by the host device, allowing the host user to review and save the photos or videos to their photo library.

In Auto Take Mode, FlockEye continuously captures photos for as long as there is available storage on the device. Photos taken in this mode are stored in FlockEye’s folder. Before starting, users can select a trigger to control when photos are taken. The host device can capture photos even without connected guest devices. If guest iPhones are connected, each device takes photos independently using the chosen trigger.

All captured photos on the host are stored with timestamps and displayed in a list, where users can choose to save them to the photo library or delete them. If a guest device loses connection with the host, it will continue capturing and storing images locally. When storage runs out in Auto Take Mode, the oldest photos are automatically deleted to make room for new ones.

Users can also choose to add a date and time stamp to the photos.

How to Use FlockEye in Instant Take Mode:
Open FlockEye on all devices you want to use for capturing photos.
Ensure that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on all devices.
Select one device as the host and wait for guest devices to connect.
Once a red dot appears, tap it to take pictures. However, for the best experience, wait until all guest devices are fully connected.
The host device will automatically receive photos from all connected devices. Once the transfer is complete, you're done!

### 4/5 — The functionality you would want if you have multiple devices!

Love this app, it simply works well and takes multiple shots for all devices within same network. However the resulting photo is low resolution, so it can be improved. And I also wish it can take video slomo and stitch them!

**Developer response:** Thanks. I would like to inform you that there are low and medium resolution selection options at the moment but we are planning to add high resolution soon. Video taking seems feasible however putting several videos together and playing them as one sounds interesting. I will try.

We added new trigger to start picture or video taking.
This trigger starts taking if a cat or a dog comes into camera view.

We changed naming technique of devices connecting each other.
FlockEye will create some names  for connections. 
User can enter some visual names by touching the names app gave .
(Because of Apple' s privacy policy we can not use device names anymore.)

Also, we increased stream quality from slave to master.

We removed group photo ID option because of changes of Apple's programming features. It was causing errors because of changes.
We added ability sending taken images to photo albume automatically.
