As you go through a dumb slide, and then instantly  a paywall at you

**Developer response:** Hi Ashy! Flocklight is completely free to use for all essential features, including the core tools the app was built around. The screen you encountered introduces optional Pro features, which require a subscription because they rely on paid AI processing and ongoing infrastructure costs.

You can dismiss the offer and continue using the free version. We’re always working to make the onboarding experience clearer, and we appreciate the feedback.

This is without a doubt the most comprehensive ALPR map available. You can file FOIA requests within the app, email city councils, and more. 

Every essential feature is free, however the pro service is well worth it.
