It is easier to set up unlike some other app like this. It includes a calendar total number of eggs laid and more features. You can add to your flock by tapping the plus and it also keeps track of how old you chickens are (if you know when hatched) it is overall and amazing app for small business owners and it easy to use! This app allows you to enter your entire flock, add a profile picture of them and the egg they lay. It allows you to enter the weight of each egg, tells you how many days in a row each chicken laid and even has a leaderboard. Just a wonderful all-around app for backyard chicken keepers. 👍🏻 ### 5/5 — Simple and effective *2022-03-27, version 1.6.1* I love using Flockstar to keep track of how many eggs my girls are laying. I love how simple it is. The dashboard is perfect. My only suggested feature would be to add notifications so I remember to log the number of eggs every day. Sometimes I forget then I have to remember and I know I probably make mistakes. This app makes it easy to track eggs! My only (small) complaint is that I can’t mark an egg as “unknown” regarding who laid it. We’re not quite sure who is currently laying, so I’ve been guessing. I’d say I have a medium sized flock and they sometimes lay 4 eggs and sometimes 9 eggs per day! The calendar feature shows me how many eggs per day at a glance. I would ask the developers to consider adding a ‘notes’ tab for each calendar. I would also like to see the calendar by year to date in number of eggs and graph for each bird and total. There are just two changes I would like- 1) Have a spot to add a picture of the chicken as a chick. 2) Have an “Are you sure you want to erase your flock?” Window. It didn’t take me long to find this app though. It asks for your chickens names’ do then you know what chicken was laying the most eggs! My chickens are basically spoiled pets so being able to take pretty detailed notes on whether or not they laid an egg on a certain day adding a picture of that egg and being able to add notes that I can go back and look at later is awesome. I was more than a little surprised to suddenly see this app in the store for free. I’m chronically broke which is why I love the virtual tip jar feature. We are a multiple device family, we both take care of chickens. There is no cloud support so everything must be done on one device.
