New year, new feature: Check-ins have landed! Whenever you’re at one of the listed venues, you can now check in there. Not only can you build up a list for your memories, but you can also let other users know what’s happening in the area. Expect more features to be added soon.

With this update we added support for events with lines. For example, a line can show you the exact route of a pride parade on a map.

Also: Hopefully you will never ever want use this new feature, but if you want to delete your Flokkr account, you can do this now directly from this app.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

Almost everything is new in this release! We’ve rewritten the entire app from the ground up.

• “Flokkr Places” is now “Flokkr Go” to better reflect the current and future scope of the app.
• New app icon and new look and feel.
• Events! You can now discover pride festivals, parties, LGBTQ+ film festivals and more from the city screen, wherever available.
• Enjoy your favourite LGBTQ city guide not only on your iPhone, but now also iPad and Apple Watch (requires iOS 14.5 or later, or watchOS 7.4 or later).
• If you sign in with your Flokkr account, you can upload a profile picture directly from the app.
• We added “Sign in with Apple”, which is super easy, quick and secure.
• We have improved accessibility for VoiceOver support, text sizes and increased contrast, to bring the app experience to as many people of the LGBTQ community as possible.
• The app is now also available in German (i.e. the app interface, not place and event descriptions), plus differentiated for British and American English.
• The file size of this app is now even tinier, so you really have no excuse to not keep this essential LGBTQ app on all your devices.
