No floor plan? No problem. Floorscanner allows you to scan any indoor space within a few minutes and turn it into an accurate and interactive floor plan. Whether you're preparing a real estate listing, planning a renovation, or simply redecorating, Floorscanner is easy to use, offers versatile options to meet your needs, and delivers floor plans that seamlessly integrate with Floorplanner, empowering you to accomplish more than with conventional floor plans.

Floorscanner is a helpful companion app for Floorplanner, the 2D and 3D floor planning and design platform used by over 25 million people worldwide. By using LiDAR technology, Floorscanner is here to put an end to the days of fumbling around with finicky tape and laser measurers; turning your space into a 2D floor plan and/or 3D model with accurate dimensions and layout is now as simple as scan, submit, and voila! Once your space has been converted, you can use your 2D floor plan as is, or jump into the created Floorplanner project, where you can edit dimensions and/or structural components, customize wall and floor finishes, and fully furnish and decorate to meet your needs! 

Floorscanner offers two scan options:

• Free option (RoomPlan): Entirely free, with results delivered within just seconds (now supports multi-room scanning).

• Paid option (WeScan): For enhanced accuracy, with results delivered within 2-3 days (pricing in credits is dependent on subscription type and the number of floors being scanned). For the highest degree of accuracy, simply provide two real-world measurements after scanning for results that are 99% accurate!

For your convenience, you can now make a scan without logging in, giving you the ability to easily test the Floorscanner app; to upload your scan and get your results, you will need to log in or sign up. While you do need at least a free, basic Floorplanner account to fully utilize Floorscanner, you will be emailed a black-and-white 2D copy of your floor plan, so there is no need to use Floorplanner if you only require the floorplan itself.

Already have a Floorplanner account? Perfect! Floorscanner is designed to work seamlessly with Floorplanner, meaning all converted floor plans will be available in your Floorplanner account where you can interact with them like any other Floorplanner project.

For streamlined client interaction, provide customers with access via an invitation code. This allows them to scan and upload without logging in, with results automatically sent to your Floorplanner account.

### 2/5 — Great idea but could be better

I use this app with an enterprise account at crate and barrel to scan homes and create digital floor plans. 

What’s good
- it’s fairly simple to use 
- not a ton of modifiers/settings 

What needs improvement 
- the app constantly crashes, or when I am finished with a scan it just says “an error occurred and all the info is lost. You’ll need to scan again.” It’s been like this for the months that I’ve been using it and it’s a real let down. 
- their customer service doesn’t seem to care to improve this functionality or user experience
- I wish it had a guided tutorial on how to use it. 
- in the middle of a scan the geometric color overlay sometimes disappears entirely and makes me really doubt whether or not it saved the actual scan. The coordinating map itself is really hard to understand. 


This could be an excellent app but the interface and performance are far from it. I’m hopeful though that one day it works like a dream.

Much improved over a few years ago when this came out. I would recommend trying the app again. It is fun and the floorplans are highly customizable.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!!!

PSA: theres a typo in the app name. Floorscammer is the correct spelling. 

I scanned a hotel room for my free trial. 

Says it’ll take 2-3 biz days to process the scan. Seemed outrageous but I figured they’re erring on the side of caution and it was free so I had nothing to lose by testing it. 

Submitted at 10:26pm and received the “ready” email in under two hours, shortly after midnight. Pleasantly surprised with the lack of wait. 

That’s how they got me. Since the free trial went so smooth I paid the $20 to do another floor scan. 

This is the morning of the fourth business day (6th day overall) and it’s still “processing.” What a waste!

I bought some credits and tried it out. After I finished scanning it went into a “processing” status for 15 minutes. I just deleted it. Don’t waste your money.

If you don’t have ‘credits’ at floorplanner.com, you won’t be able to use it since it works only with these credits… 12 minimum. And don’t try to find how it works or if it fits your needs…. There’s no informations anywhere.

This could be a good app but I don’t know because it is paywalled through micro transactions. I like Floorplanner.com and have made a rough copy of my homes main floor with it FOR FREE. 

I understand that as a company you need to make money, my suggestion for FloorPlanner.com is to not hide behind micro transactions and rather just make the app cost $5. With that said you will need to have a policy made to accept refunds if the app doesn’t meet peoples expectations. Something like if you return within 6 hours of purchase etc.

This app also doesn’t seem to mention these transactions being required upfront, you hit this paywall immediately after logging in with an account, which a lot of people don’t want to do anyway. So to then block them with a previously unknown paywall is just kind of rude and scummy.
