Have trouble putting down the phone? Flora blocks distracting apps in a pleasant way to help you focus on what’s more important in real life. If you cannot resist the temptation of using your phone and leave the app while growing a tree, the tree will be killed! But if succeeding, you'll unlock new trees.

Things get even more interesting when you challenge your friends to plant trees together—you will see who kills a tree (ouch). However, if you successfully stay away from your phones together, each of you will win an additional tree from a random friend. People like me really need something to make me not want to open apps which can distract me and this was perfect. It warned me that if I open the specific blocked apps then my plant would die which is actually a really nice motivation to keep working and stay off my phone. I also like that it give a break before you restart the session (but ofc you can customise that). The different plants are also cool. I like the whole concept. Thanks for making the app! I totally recommend if you struggle to stay off distracting apps or your phone in general.

I used to use this app religiously in the past and was a huge advocate. After years of not using it, I came back and saw that they even have a new pack. I eagerly purchased it, only to find out the app no longer works. 

Every time I start a focus session and close my phone (without going to another app or the Home Screen first), the tree dies. When I stay on Flora in my focus session and let my screen go to sleep without me touching my phone, the tree still dies. 

I honestly feel cheated because I literally just purchased the new pack, but mostly I feel deeply disappointed because I really used to LOVE this focus app and now I have to find a new one. What a waste.
