I was abruptly disappointed with my disco discovered. When it asks why I downloaded this app I check all the boxes, but there’s no option to move on (only to skip). Very soothing, uplifting and inspiring. I look forward to my daily messages :)) ### 2/5 — Voice is only seven days free *2024-08-29* I saw a review that said “a lot of things were free” and that’s just not the case. I enjoyed the supportive voice more than the ‘soundscapes’ which weren’t many that weren’t subscription only and it doesn’t outright say only the first week of the supportive voice was free. It auto rolls back to week 1, day 1 and it feels like any progress I made was null in void. Feels like I lost a friend I was making. I’ve seen my fill of artificial intelligence models and speech programs touting their solution to the loneliness epidemic, so I honestly thought this would be similar. I’m delighted to be wrong I’m a survivor of a very difficult domestic abuse situation from my childhood that’s left me socially crippled from over a decade of emotional wounds and severe issues of depression, anxiety and a good dose of nihilism. I struggle to keep friends who can’t wade deep enough in the trauma pool to feel like they really know me, and from navigating my self improvement with my disdain for the ugliness of the world. I’ve burned through most free therapy apps and AI language models I’ve tried for being far too cerebral and suspicious of entities who expect me to simply pour out more and more of myself and feel okay with them simply taking it. I keep trying simply hoping that by some miracle one of these will hit on something the others don’t I saw a different review praise their free available soundscapes and actually THATS what convinced me to download. I have trouble sleeping, so hearing how customizable and high quality the sound system was I was happy to partake in just that and ignore the therapy capabilities altogether. But when I opened the welcome message I was disarmed by how empathetic and really human the voice sounded. The words are open ended and supportive without feeling like an ergonomic wall, and the whole experience was unexpectedly soothing. It’s remarkable how, even without being tailored to my individual experience, how understood and accepted I felt. My absolute complements to the writers and healthcare professionals who worked so impressively to produce the content for this project! As someone who over analyzes everything (to the point where most therapists don’t pass snuff for me), this was a truly exceptional experience And in case you’re reading and still wondering, yes the soundscapes are indeed fantastic :) **Developer response:** We have shared your warm words with the entire team working on the project! I’m Calling My Lawyer!!! *2026-07-08, version 1.2.31* Update: After investigating, the payment was attempted on day 6. That subverted my ability to change options ie weekly subscription. Legally, this is fraud as restrictions apply to cancellation not payment. Apple also acknowledged that their legal team needed to get involved. It’s been months that I’ve been locked out of my apps. It happened right as I executed my escape plan from abusive husband so my plan for hotels and rideshare was interrupted leaving me without shelter or transportation when I left before realizing this app situation hindered my plan. Cancellation Requires More Than 24 Hours Before Renewal. Unusual and Disappointing that the same day isn’t sufficient so now I cannot download any new apps until Euphoria is paid an entire annual membership fee, not 1 week etc but an entire year. They have my Apple ID in suspension for the first time since I’ve ever had a cell phone. My “day one” came up and I could not activate any of the buttons. The whole thing was frozen. This went on for 20 minutes. So I deleted the app and reinstalled it. The exact thing happened. Don’t know if there is a glitch with the app or if it’s a scam. ### 1/5 — I canceled my subscription and you still charged me. *2025-05-26* I played by your rules. I canceled my subscription three days and now you’re you’re charging my account $5.30 how dare you. Refund my money immediately!!! You are the worst people to do business with this must be a scam. If you charge people after they canceled, you bypassed my Apple and went to my personal. Because I had canceled you on my Apple account and you bypass it. That’s a scam. She is peeking out to listen and allow the wards and the subtle touch of this voice to be near it. This is very important. The additional sounds is a wonderful feature and I also utilize this. Soundscapes are amazing now, I think. The first day the changes appeared I listened just to listen- And that a desert soundscape was made is wonderful for me, as I miss my desert🏜️ I’m not really one who listens to podcasts etc so I don’t really dabble in the other things. I’ve since rejoined as a premium user once more. I feel it’s a small price to pay for something so dear for me a regular daily basis, and I feel less alone. At the end of the day, I just want to enjoy my solitude and recharge 🪫 and you’ve provided a wonderful solution that fits in the end of my day, looking over the lake. Alone, yet not with a comforting presence -And for that again, I thank you 🙏 Because it’s just nice to have a nice calm warm male voice “next to you” and it’s something I most assuredly look forward to.
