Need to be able to add colors from the collections even if they are a limited release. NoT good for a company that sells a good product. However following a recent OS update the app no longer retains any information that is inputted. I have contacted the developer but have not received any support at all, not even an acknowledgment. I have a whole box of floriani thread that isn’t listed as the set that it is (2019 anniversary 30 spool set). When I search one by one for each spool to add, the colors/ thread IDs are not listed in there for me to add to my organizer. I have finally created my own Dropbox list of what I have as nothing I bought recently is on the app. ### 2/5 — Needs more comparison *2018-10-25, version 1.4* I am new to embroidery and love the Floriani thread this app does help me organize it. I also like the color matcher part that compares other companies thread for a best color match but I have to choose which brand of thread I want to compare. This can be frustrating when I have None and it calls for Floriani 0747 and my store is out so I go to another store but I have to choose each brand separately. My fix would be to be able to compare up to 3 brands for the best color match. I received a large selection of another company’s thread and I can compare those color codes for the best Floriani color but I cannot add a note or tab when I put it in my organizer that I have 1 spool Madeira Polyneon #### and which I have on hand. ### 1/5 — Seriously Needs an Update! *2018-01-02, version 1.2.3* This app is driving me nuts! I have new threads with a bar code set that I cannot scan. No new threads to match either. Do not seriously want to enter threads individually! This App needs to work! Where is it? I have sent Floriani emails asking about the revamp, they do not even respond. ### 1/5 — Outdated *2020-05-09, version 1.4* The app is functional but RNK has not kept the thread colors and types updated. Very disappointing since I have a large investment in Florian Threads and still have to keep a spreadsheet to keep an accurate list of my supply and needs/wants. RNK, as a service and show of appreciation for your loyal customers, please update this app. ### 1/5 — Floriani Thread App for iPhone *2020-05-02, version 1.4* I am so disappointed that I cannot even open this app on my iPhone anymore. This is where I kept my inventory and shopping list for new projects. I can still open on iPad but I don’t carry my iPad shopping. She told me that I could track what thread I already have and what I needed to buy. NOPE! Very disappointing that it hasn’t been updated in a year. 24 colors were in there, but 40 others weren’t. Please update!!! ### 1/5 — Use of app *2019-09-28, version 1.4* Today at an event I bought all of the Floriani threads. I am trying to use this app to load the sets I bought, and nothing is working. I suppose if I wanted to add all 360 of them one by one I could do it that way. (But I question if that would even work) I had mentioned something to the presenter about the poor ratings of their apps. She told me they were all updated. I don’t think these apps have been updated, because nothing is working. At this point I’m very disappointed because I would like to organize my threads and it is not allowing me too. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2019-01-11, version 1.4* I have tried and tried but it will not remember any threads that I add to the organizer. Needs to be fixed. *2018-02-17, version 1.2.3* This app was very helpful when I purchased a set of 100 threads a year ago. I could load all the threads in the first set with one click. Last December I made an large investment at a Floriani event and was extremely disappointed to discover the app has not been updated to include these threads names or codes in the latest set of 120 colors in set 2. I cannot even load the colors individually nor by the set. The thread database should have been uploaded by R&K prior to releasing this new set. Very disappointed in this app and thus very disappointed in R&K Distributing for not being on top of this. Calls to their office were useless. No one answering the phone knew anything about the app much less who the webmaster was. I love Floriani products but this app, as it is today, is a failure. I am giving it one star but should be none. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Super helpful app, and wonderful development team *2025-07-16, version 2.2.1* This app is so great for tracking the thread I already have, and for creating a shopping list of threads to replenish or add to my collection. The color matcher is a big time saver when matching my Floriani threads to different brand threads used in various embroidery designs. Also, a huge shoutout to the development team for quickly answering questions and listening to suggestions for improving the app and making it more useful. ### 5/5 — Recently UPDATED! 😊 *2022-11-06, version 2.0.2* The update to this app is a total game changer! It’s even better since they added an icon to show which of the suggested colors I have in my collection after I sent an email asking if it might be possible if a future update.
