## What is Florida Fish Life?

Start as a tiny yellowtail snapper drifting through Florida's reefs. Touch anything smaller and it's lunch. Touch anything bigger and it's game over — unless you can outswim it.

Florida Fish Life is a one-touch arcade game built around real Gulf and Atlantic gamefish. Hold your finger down to swim, eat your way up the food chain, and watch your fish transform as you grow — snapper, grouper, cobia, kingfish, dolphinfish, sailfish — until you become a blue marlin, the baddest fish in the sea.

FEATURES

- One-touch controls — hold and drag to swim, nothing else to learn
- Ten real Florida gamefish species, each with its own moment when you grow into it
- Score by risk, not size — a close call is worth far more than an easy meal, and chaining meals builds a combo multiplier
- Three lives, and a card that shows you exactly what ate you
- A bull shark shows up once a run and means it — slower than you, but it never stops coming until it catches you or you lose it
- Baited fishing lines drift down from the surface: grab the bait for big points, but the hook doesn't wait around for stragglers
- A living reef — coral, sea fans, sponges, drifting sargassum, and a school of fish that grows and changes species as you do

Every fish on screen is sized relative to you honestly — nothing is padded out or shrunk down to make the game easier. Growing bigger genuinely changes what's dangerous and what's food.

- A new Inshore mode alongside Offshore, on the welcome screen — grow from a Glass Minnow all the way to a Tarpon through Florida's grass flats and mangrove shoreline species: Finger Mullet, Pinfish, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Gafftopsail Catfish, Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Black Drum, and Common Snook
- Inshore's waters now look the part - a sand and seagrass bed instead of the offshore reef, and a mangrove shoreline overhead: you'll see the prop roots while you swim, and the trees themselves when you leap clear of the water
- Inshore fishermen use shrimp for bait; Offshore keeps the squid
- In Inshore, the bull shark is replaced by a hungry bottlenose dolphin
- Offshore now starts you as a Scaled Sardine - a baitfish - before you grow into a Yellowtail Snapper
- Yellowfin Tuna, a new Offshore species between Wahoo and Sailfish
- Once per game, somewhere around the middle of your run, an extra life floats by - grab it!
- Eating a fish now goes "nom nom"
- The share button now says which mode (Offshore or Inshore) you were playing
- The welcome screen's start button now reads "Enter the Lagoon" in Inshore mode
- A bull shark can show up again after a post-victory Continue, once per fresh lap instead of just once per run
- Winning Inshore now crowns you "the Silver King" - Tarpon's real nickname - instead of the generic "baddest fish" line
- The bait-streak bonus now escalates the longer a streak goes unbroken: 4,000 at 6 clean bites, 8,000 at 8, 10,000 at 10, and 100,000 at 20
- Settings now shows the app version, so a bug report or screenshot can say which build it's from
- A Species Guide in Settings shows every species' picture and fact untimed - the in-run cards are paced for a run, not for reading
