I am amazed by the quality of every aspect of the paper that is important to me. The app does a fine job, occasionally a log on issue but not the app fault. The feature that has changed reading habits and enhanced my enjoyment is ease with Which I can send anything I read and comment on the article. The app access your email address book so you do not have to look up the address, just start typing the name as it appears in your directory and push the button. My only issue is the content of the paper, it is biased to the left, woke culture and concentrates on negative aspects of every story that features a conservative view. It is easy to navigate between sections and highlights stories you’ve read. The Times Union does a great job covering our city. I admire the way the reporters dig to get the truth about what goes on behind closed doors. Annoying that the app. asks for log in info and password when logging in from a new WyFi source. But I do not like the page with the advice columns and horoscopes. That was just about the only thing left that looked like the Times Union before it became USA Today. Plus we have columnists from Orlando, Lakeland, Tampa, all over Florida. I think you’ve lost sight of the fact that this paper is actually Jacksonville and we like the opinions of columnists that live here and are our neighbors. It’s just USA Today - that’s all basically 🙁 ### 1/5 — Get ready for frustration *2021-06-04, version 4.33.13* The new version of this app for 2021 works way less than half the time for me. It’s a crapshoot whether I will be able to download the paper each day. Some days it actually works but most days it doesn’t. Sad thing is the folks asked to provide support barely even know what it is or how to use it. ### 1/5 — Politicly biased and refuse to report the truth *2021-03-07, version 4.32.60* This paper is a failure when it comes to truth blatant truth. Covering the traitors Rutherford, Rubio and Scott is non existent you bury any articles on their party loyalty, trump loyalty and traitor is and what the truth is on 1/6/21 in section B behind front page headlines like “National Hymn” really? You enable what happened front page news should be Traitors Scott and Rutherford support insurrection even after capitol police killed? What is wrong with that truth? Times Union is nothing but an extension of Fox News and. Tool for the right John Rutherford should never be re-elected again and you should be telling us why? The start is for the sports page everything else in there is propaganda favoring traitors, insurrection and the Republican Party. Report the truth there was no fraud in voting the all other narratives are the big lie. Report on why the poor need to vote by mail. Tell the truth out loud on the front page no buried. This paper is unamerician but you have a good sports page. ### 1/5 — New app *2021-02-08, version 4.32.59* New App is not working on my phone I have called tech support twice and they did not know how to help it is very frustrating to not be able to read the paper that I have paid for ! ### 1/5 — Horrible Customer Experience *2021-02-07, version 4.32.59* This app constantly freezes and has to be downloaded from the App Store. It’s hard to navigate and is much worse than the app it replaced. I don’t blame the Times-Union! Since Gannett took control of the paper I’ve subscribed to for over 50 years, the TU has gone steadily downhill. I haven’t been able to read a single article this morning. I am so glad I did. It is easy to read and maneuver through. It has extra sections that give the latest news and you get USA TODAY free everyday! And you can stay up on all the news even when you are out of town. Everyone should subscribe to the Times Union.
