I love the simplicity of the gameplay and I like that it will sometimes make me have to stop and think about the next move. I like the daily and weekly puzzles, I have over a year streak at this point. But there are way too many ads. If you take a long time to solve puzzles, you might get an ad after every single one, and sometimes the ads don’t provide an option to close them out so you have to restart the game to get rid of them. YAY!!!!! *2025-02-21, version 3.2* For the longest time one of the differences between hexes and original and bridges was that the navigational format was different. Hints were in the middle and there was no way to navigate between levels outside of the pack pages. Frankly I haded it. But I loved the puzzles so I didn’t delete the app. BUT, they fixed it and I couldn’t be happier if I could give 10 stars I would. Beware future customers! Fun game but merchant is a let down. ### 1/5 — Awful Update *2026-06-23, version 3.3* I've played this game and other variants of Flow Free for YEARS (I have a daily streak over 1500) and this new update is awful simply for trying to get players to spend money on hints by moving the buttons around. It is not discreet, the hint button is where the reset button was, and the reset is where the skip button was, discouraging players from taking their time and coming back to puzzles when they're ready and encouraging the instant gratification of paying to solve the puzzle right away. I liked this game because of its slow pace and non-pushy interface.
