I completed every daily puzzle perfectly and had a streak of over 2,500 days. As expected, the app grew in size to over 2 GB so I contacted support and asked if I would lose my progress if I reinstall the app and was told as long as iCloud sync was active, I would not lose anything. So… I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and lost my 2,500 day streak. I thought maybe it was a fluke and decided to experiment. I made sure iCloud backed up before doing another reinstall. Same result. Back to a zero day streak. If daily streaks are important to you just be warned. Never uninstall believing your progress will be saved. ### 5/5 — Ad Problem *2024-10-06, version 2.7* Too bad about REALLY intrusive ads. Turn it off and restart. Otherwise no way to get past ads ### 2/5 — levels *2024-09-27, version 2.7* there isn’t enough levels, it usually takes me 3 days to complete the entire game, this is the last game of theirs i’m playing until they make another ### 3/5 — Love these games *2024-08-18, version 2.7* I love the flow free games (original, warps, bridges and hexes) and have paid to remove the ads and get all the levels on all 4 versions. However I wish the developers would change the UI back to the original. On the regular flow free the design has the watch a video to get a free hint on the top right, then, the bottom left is the undo move then in the middle it’s go back to previous level reset button then go to next level then on the far right is the get hints button. However on this version along with bridges and hexes the layout has changed and the middle now has the use hints and watch video for free hints in there and there isn’t a go to next level or go back to next level. I have ended up using hints I didn’t need because I thought I was resetting the level to restart it. I really wish they would go back to the old layout. I will still continue to play the games because they are fun to play but if they fixed that I would be really happy. ### 4/5 — Challenging but sized down *2024-08-05, version 2.7* This game is very enjoyable, even more so than the original Flow Free. However, one thing that triggers me is that almost every pack is smaller in size. The jumbo pack NOT being 14x14 will just never be okay with me. Other than that, this game is awesome. ### 2/5 — UI optimized for ads *2024-08-01, version 2.7* I have three other Flow Free games and love them. This game however has stuck the buttons for ads front and center where the control buttons are for the other three. I believe this is intentional so you accidentally click on the watch-an-ad film clip icon. To accommodate the accentuated hints and ads icons, they also removed the button to go back to a previous puzzle. I payed for the option to remove ads and yet there is is the watch-an-ad button prominently displayed. No thank you. ### 5/5 — Credit karma ad is spam *2024-06-22, version 2.7* On all versions of your game(Standard, Hex, Warps, Bridges) can you please do something about the Credit Karma ad!? Popup loads, browser opens, then the App Store loads… that is the only ad that runs that doesn’t simply play a video and call it a day. Overall, I love the games, running daily streak is around 900 for all four versions. I’d love for the developers to include a way to connect dot to dot through the warp without having to lose the option of undoing a completed line with the press of the undo button. I think this could be achievable through the addition of some special “lock” or “warp” button, or simply by allowing for a second undo when lines warp. I think it would help keep the consistency the game had in the original game with this edition. ### 2/5 — Crappy quality control *2024-03-05, version 2.7* Game good but adds which turn screen black and can’t get out of them till you shut down. The ‘tunnels’ and the ‘borders’ where only certain areas on some of the mazes are open so as to cross over. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Ads stink *2024-09-07, version 2.7* I used to play this game all the time but the ads get worse and worse. I usually swipe up and close the app then re open to skip the ads. I guess the devs have caught on because now some ads won’t let you close the app. Swipe up is ignored and you’ve just clicked on the ad. I hope it’s just a bug and gets fixed because it’s not playable. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2024-04-30, version 2.7* The place that in the other versions of flow had the reset button, now has the hint button. I solved all the free play puzzles, all the dailys and weeklys, some multiple times, probably well over hundred thousand puzzles in each. They were my fav games. Alas, all good things rot eventually. For some time now all the games from this developer (paid) keep nagging me to use "game center". I get pop-ups every day, every time I open each app. Some of those pop-ups cannot be dismissed at all unless I sign in. I will not sign in, so I have to kill the app, and try again. There is no way to permanently disable this garbage. So sadly I have no choice but to uninstall all this crap. It was great while it lasted. Bye. ### 1/5 — Less of a game than a phishing and ad service *2023-11-12, version 2.7* This was a great game, but the ads have become increasingly impossible to deal with. They don’t respect your sound settings, you spend more time watching them than you do playing the game—and recently you will be mid move when you are redirected to a phishing website. This was a great game, but they have given the advertisers too much freedom, and it only keeps getting worse. The ads on most games are not too bad and I endure them well. However, lately, several ads for games (pull the pins to get to the treasure without getting mauled by the ogre first) seem to cause my screen to lock up repeatedly until I have to totally exit the game and clear it from the cache before I can continue!
