### 2/5 — When it works it’s good

*2026-08-13, version 1.1.9*

When it works it’s good but has not been reliable. There have been several mornings I wake up late late because no alarm went off. Extremely frustrating.

### 3/5 — Stopped suddenly

*2026-08-06, version 1.1.9*

Was set up and working then all the sudden one day it logged me out and was no longer set up. Would not let me back in that night so did not get to use it in the morning and my apple alarm clock didn’t go off. Finally was able to get back in but had to fully set it back up.

### 3/5 — Love the idea

*2026-07-08, version 1.1.8*

The idea itself is great. The app needs some work. Every day that I’ve had it I’ve tried to make 2 alarms and name them. One for my early day and one for my regular day. I change the alarm sound. By the time I wake up by my early alarm, I only have 1 set up and the it’s the same obnoxious sound that I wanted to get away from. Good idea though

### 1/5 — Alarm Randomly Goes Off

*2026-07-02, version 1.1.7*

The alarm often does not go off at the designated time and decides to go off randomly during the work day. My 7 am alarm just decided to go off while I was driving to a client meeting at 2:45 in the afternoon. Thanks guys

### 2/5 — Very Stingy!

*2026-06-30, version 1.1.7*

You have to pay monthly to be able to choose between more than just 3 alarm sounds?? That’s so ridiculous. You can import a file for free, so I went through all this trouble trying to figure out how to save a song to my files…only to discover it will only let me use 30 seconds of the song! Literally what is happening. So stingy, so stupid. I’ll be returning this and going back to using Alarmy.

### 1/5 — Terrible Customer Support

*2026-06-30, version 1.1.7*

I had a very disappointing experience with Flow Alarm. Their customer service is practically nonexistent. Yet they had no problem charging my card immediately.

Right after placing my order, I realized I had entered the wrong shipping address. I contacted customer service immediately to have it corrected before the order was processed. I sent between three and five emails and never received a response.

A company that processes payments so quickly should be equally responsive when customers need help with an order. Something as simple as correcting a shipping address should not be ignored. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Flow Alarm because of the lack of customer support.

So here I have something sent to my old home in whole different state. May give unbed a chances since their customer service has been responsive since they both been showing up on my IG & FB.

### 1/5 — Sly paywall structure despite “no subscription” claim

*2026-06-29, version 1.1.7*

Sleep tracking feature requiring a subscription is more than understandable. But not being able to even pick a custom alarm tone without shelling out $40 a month is ridiculous. Buy a Lasso alarm instead, effectively same alarm functionality and much cleaner interface since none of it is locked away from you.

### 2/5 — Needs bugs fixed

*2026-06-28, version 1.1.7*

The Idea of the app is super cool but it doesn’t work. The restrictions on my distracting apps works until I simply just open the Flow app. When I try to update which apps I want to be allowed to use while my app blocking is restricted it doesn’t work and just blocks more apps i want to have access to.

### 2/5 — Bad taste in mouth

*2026-06-25, version 1.1.5*

It took a month to arrive, then once it finally showed up, I discovered the $60 hardware was basically just the entry fee.

If you want access to anything beyond the most stripped-down, bare-minimum version of the product, you have to pay for an annual subscription.

Sure, technically it “works” without the subscription. But that feels like a loophole, not a real feature. The free version is so limited it feels intentionally crippled to push you into paying more.

Terrible first impression. I didn’t feel like I bought a product, I felt like I bought my way into another paywall. Ugh.

### 3/5 — Great concept but…

*2026-06-24, version 1.1.5*

I like my Flow alarm clock. I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my sleep patterns (going to bed earlier, waking up and staying awake, and feeling more refreshed as a result). However, similar to other reviews, I am very disappointed with the omission of the subscription required to access all of flows features. I paid $40 for the Flow dock thinking I snagged a deal for this miracle solution to my sleeping in habits. Just to find out it costs an additional $40 to access all the features. Without the subscription, the alarm is literally the only feature accessible. Including a very limited selection of alarm sounds while the rest require the subscription.
Also, the flow dock arrived about a month late and was promised updates weekly which did not happen. I had to email them to confirm my order was coming. I never received an email back but it came in the mail shortly after, so I am suspicious that I wouldn’t have received it if I didn’t reach out.
Finally, there are some practical concerns. It won’t allow me to have more than 2 alarms. Second, I enjoy the sleep tracking feature, but theres been a couple days where I wake up and my sleep was not tracked when I know I initiated the feature prior to going to bed the night before. It says the feature won’t work if I close the app, but that should not apply to my phone locking on it’s own if thats the case. I understand it is a fairly new business, but it should not be this expensive, especially considering all of these pitfalls.

### 3/5 — Subscription?

*2026-06-24, version 1.1.5*

Why do we need a subscription for literally everything now

### 1/5 — ITS A SCAM!!!

*2026-06-19, version 1.1.3*

DO NOT BUY!! They will not send you the product and want you to pay a subscription

### 3/5 — Good Idea, Questionable Execution

*2026-06-18, version 1.1.2*

Love flow as a product as a whole, overall good idea. However there are a couple of things that are holding this device back from being great.
1. App interface. The mobile app feels like it is built on lovable.com, with many of its features being laggy and it consistently logs me out of my account each and everyday, and when i log back in I must go through the same 5 minute process of setting up the app again and connecting it to my doc.
2. Alarm not always working. In the morning, the alarm typically does go off, however I have noticed that if I do not touch it for 5-10 minutes it shuts off on its own, which is interesting. On top of that turning down volume can also shut it off on occasion.
3. App block not working. For the past two weeks I have had this, the app block only worked for when the alarm was going off, but as soon as I turned off the alarm, the app block would lift.

In a whole, the core functionality of the product works, however these few things are holding me back from purchasing more products as gifts for family/friends. I want to buy the subscription, but have lost faith because of these problems.

I would highly recommend for the team to focus on a good product with a functioning app with minimal bugs, before pushing a subscription.

### 1/5 — Awful service

*2026-06-11, version 1.0.9*

Ordered the alarm clock about a month ago, never received anything, get charged another $100 still without having the alarm clock. This is a horrible business model.

### 1/5 — Misleading Wording Regarding Subscriptions.

*2026-06-05, version 1.0.8*

Their website says “NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED” more than once, this is technically true. However, you only have access to like 5% of the features they list on the website. In addition the flow block that I purchased for $60 said no subscription. But the first thing the app did was ask me to pay $40. I would never trust a business that conducts themselves this way it is misleading and predatory. In addition they make it ridiculously difficult to return or get a refund. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-06-05, version 1.0.8*

Complete misleading advertising

### 1/5 — Scam, never delivered the product

*2026-06-04, version 1.0.8*

I ordered a flow alarm clock square two months ago. They kept saying it’s coming then when I started asking for a refund they ghost me…. No response, no refund, no product. Please report to the BBB do something will be done to stop them from taking advantage of other people. Their site, advertisements are all full of lies. From shipping times to the necessity of needing a subscription to use the alarm…. Very shady business practices.

### 1/5 — Paywall is BS

*2026-06-04, version 1.0.8*

Not everything should have a pay wall. You guys can clearly see everyone thinks that sucks. Not to mention the fact I was not even made aware of said paywall until I emailed the company about not getting the box until well after a month after I ordered it, and paid for expedited shipping (like an idiot). They offered a year of access instead of refunding shipping. That’s cool, why I gave 2 stars instead of one. Stop being greedy. If your costs of manufacturing a box you charge $40 for is too much, even though it’s 99% likely you’re getting the boxes made in some sweatshop overseas, then charge more for the box, $60 without a stupid pay wall. Do better. If you want my feedback and data, as well as referrals, do better. Great thing about capitalism is we can speak our mind with our wallet. These things will most certainly get lost, and need to be replaced. Charge a little more up front and drop the paywall. This ain’t Netflix. Get over yourselves, stop being arrogant. You’ll make a ton of money still and you’ll get to 4.7 overall ratings instead of sitting at 4. Do better, Flow. Get in that flow. Maybe cut salaries of executives as an idea to get rid of the paywall. You will fail, in time otherwise. Especially if you keep advertising no sub. F your paywall. F your greed. Do better and I’ll change this to a 5 star.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Great Idea, Bad Execution

*2026-08-13, version 1.1.9*

The alarm works great. but for how expensive it is plus the yearly membership, it doesn’t work nearly as good as it should. The app blocking doesn’t work, and that was one thing i bought it for. I’ve tried everything and even reached out for assistance over two weeks ago and never got a response from their team. Wishing I would have tried a different brand without as many glitches in app and at least a customer service that responds within two weeks.

### 1/5 — Set alarm for 6:15am — just went off at 9:25am

*2026-08-11, version 1.1.9*

This application is wildly buggy and extremely unpredictable. In concept it works great, but the reality is it never really actually works when you need it to especially for something important like waking up. I found myself setting five other alarms simply because I did not trust this app.

### 1/5 — glitchy asf

*2026-08-04, version 1.1.9*

the alarm kept playing like 4 times and i couldn’t turn it off unless i deleted the app, good invention terrible execution

### 1/5 — DOES NOT WORK!

*2026-07-27, version 1.1.9*

This is an extremely frustrating product/app.. the very first morning after setup, it said "wrong dock" and WOULD NOT turn off my alarm! I had to restart my phone, then the alarm continued going off, until FINALLY it scanned the dock successfully 5 minutes later.. so yeah, I guess if you're looking for a SUPER frustrating experience to ensure you're awake every morning, this is your product.. Then, when I had previously selected to allow my weather app during restricted times, it won't open it! Despite it being selected as "allowed" & showing in the list of "allowed apps" !!! So I had to scan the dock AGAIN to turn off blocking, so I could check the weather! And big surprise, IT. WOULDNT. WORK. AGAIN. !!!! took 4 or 5 times of rescanning process for it to actually acknowledge my phone.. TERRIBLE PRODUCT & APP! Additionally, there is constantly a red notification dot in setting unless you PAY to upgrade to more features.. that is an extremely shady feature to include, bc we all know that a notification icon is about enough to drive a person crazy!! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Save your $$$$$ !!!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-07-21, version 1.1.9*

This company needs to get a grip. Ordered it in March, didn’t receive it more than a month later, emailed them multiple times, never responded, charged it back on card, that got their attention so they finally sent the product. Once I got the product, I still don’t feel better about spending the money because it doesn’t work! Alarms don’t stay set, they delete randomly and frequently, the main features are behind a pay wall that isn’t advertised. Final straw was an alarm set for 7am went off at 11:48am while I was at work. Made my phone completely useless for an hour while I figured out how to get around the alarm because I didn’t have the scanner with me. Deleted the app and will never use the product again. Hopefully the people in charge figure out how to run the company/app.

### 1/5 — Too many malfunctions

*2026-07-16, version 1.1.9*

Genuinely an awful purchase. There have been numerous occasions where there have been random duplicate alarms going off at times that I did not set. Also the “dock” does not work about 1/4 times so the only way to turn off the alarm is to shut down my phone.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work, abysmal customer service

*2026-07-16, version 1.1.9*

The alarms don’t stay. I will set my alarms and check back later when I go to sleep to make sure they’re set and they won’t even be there and it’ll show “you have no alarms, set an alarm to get started.” My alarms disappearing and not going off has made me late for work more than once. Your alarm settings also will not save/stay and will revert to the original base settings. All I got from customer service when I brought up these issues was “keep your app updated.” Great idea, horrible execution. I requested to make a return and get a refund well within the 30 day window, and it’s just crickets now. Don’t waste your money on this product or app.

### 1/5 — Works just terrible app

*2026-07-15, version 1.1.9*

It works but the design is terrible I can’t have multiple alarms set up and the app is just really buggy and also there is nothing you can do if you go on a trip and forget it, customer service will reply wayyyy to late.

### 1/5 — Broken app

*2026-07-13, version 1.1.9*

None of the alarms ever work or stay, i set a new alarm every night because they’re always gone in the morning. Its only actually woken me up like three Times in a couple months, waste of $40.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-07-03, version 1.1.7*

- Didn’t ship product for 2 months
- Alarm doesn’t go off
- Randomly locks my apps sometimes
- Somehow prevents you from deleting the app (?!?!?!)
- Requires paid subscription after you buy the physical brick

The product doesn’t work. Dishonest and scummy company. Don’t buy this.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Most useful app to change my priority habits

*2026-06-12, version 1.0.9*

I hate leave reviews on apps, but this one has been especially helpful for me. Waking up on time had been an issue for me for a while now and with the task-alarms that’s no longer a thing. However, the most useful feature for me it’s the app blocking. The fact that it kicks you out of the apps u select after a certain amount of time, its game changing. None of the other apps had worked for me bc I would override the warning, but literally kicking me out of instagram has been the only way to actually bring my screen time down. I hope the developers get to see this review bc man I never leave them but damn it’s been so helpful. Thanks y’all

### 5/5 — Saved my mornings

*2026-05-21*

I love it! No more doom scrolling

### 5/5 — Great product

*2026-05-15, version 1.0.2*

Flow has actually changed me into a morning person with getting me out of bed instead of snoozing my alarm.
Highly recommend it!

### 5/5 — Actually works

*2026-05-13, version 1.0.1*

I was a little hesitant at first if this would actually get me up. But it actually is so good. I’ve used it for a little bit now and I’ve gotten up on time every single day. I like how they have like a bunch of modes as well you can choose from. Would definitely recommend it if you have trouble getting out of bed on time!

### 5/5 — First Actual Review

*2026-05-12, version 1.0.1*

Amazing product and works incredibly well. Definitely is necessary in my life. Saves me so much time and makes sure I stay productive.

### 5/5 — Life Changing

*2026-05-12, version 1.0.1*

This is by far the best alarm app I’ve used I struggle to get out of bed I have tried so many alarms even one that shakes my bed nothing has worked like this app it’s soo good I highly recommend

### 5/5 — Flow alarm

*2026-05-10, version 1.0*

This is the best alarm I have ever used. I can’t snooz it and I can’t sleep in. I tried using a bunch of other alarms but flow is the only one that has done exactly what I wanted it to do. This alarm has helped me start winning my mornings.

### 5/5 — Best alarm that actually works

*2026-05-10, version 1.0*

Honestly at first it sucks. You’re used to being able to snooze… but this app literally forces you out of that habit. It works. It’s the only alarm I set now. And I never miss an early flight or tee time now.

### 5/5 — best alarm system ever!

*2026-05-09, version 1.0*

im one to honestly always get up to my alarm. but fact that I have to get up scan and then it blocks my social media accounts too? that made my days start so much quicker. been searching for a way to end my morning doom scroll and now it’s gone.

### 4/5 — Works but glitches

*2026-08-06, version 1.1.9*

It works well does its job but usually it never plays the full audio just keeps starting over or reverts to the basic loud alarm instead of the audio I selected. Besides that it does its job well
