## What is flowdays Muslim Period Tracker?

Is it your period or istihadah? flowdays tells you exactly when to pray, fast and make ghusl, and shows you why.

For a Muslim woman, tracking your cycle isn't only about health. It shapes your salah, your fasts and your connection to Allah. Most period apps ignore this completely. flowdays was built for it.

flowdays reads what you log, learns your own habit and works out your ruling for you, so you always know where you stand. No googling. No guesswork. No doubt.

WHAT FLOWDAYS DOES FOR YOU

• Tells you in one sentence where you stand today, and why
• Sorts hayd (period), tuhr (purity) and istihadah (bleeding outside your period) for you, the part most apps get wrong
• Tells you when ghusl is due the moment you log that your bleeding stopped
• Learns your habit and updates it as your cycle changes
• Keeps count of fasts to make up, and any prayers you owe
• My cycle: your phases, your patterns and when your next period is due
• Share with your husband: his Home shows your card, so he knows how to support you
• Learn: articles on hayd, istihadah and ghusl by Ustad Abas Arshad, opened straight from your ruling
• Salah tracker, Qibla Finder and a Ramadan mode for fasts and make-up days
• Home and Lock Screen widgets with your status at a glance
• A simple calendar to log and look back on your history

BUILT ON HANAFI FIQH

Every ruling follows the Hanafi school, taken from the classical texts and reviewed by our scholar, Ustad Abas Arshad. We don't approximate. We look it up. Whether you're learning the rulings of hayd for the first time or you've tracked for years, flowdays meets you where you are.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS

Your cycle is deeply personal. No ads, and we never sell your data. Optional secure backup, Face ID lock, and it works offline.

A cycle app built for your worship, not just your body.

### 3/5 — Not loading?

*2026-08-27*

The introduction to the app is thorough which is really nice, but when it takes me to the dashboard the whole screen goes black and it doesn’t change. When I go off the app and force restart, it makes me start the whole process again. I’m so excited to use this app but I’m sad that it’s not loading properly :(

### 1/5 — If you’re not planning to pay or are unaware don’t even put the details in

*2026-04-11*

I thought this app was free an I put in all my period dates an other information only to find out it’s for money so basically I gave some random app my information for no reason, no better than Flo.

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

*2026-04-02*

Incredibly thoughtful and easy-to-use app. It gives real peace of mind knowing that fiqh rulings are seamlessly integrated into its system, making it clear and simple to know when you can and can’t pray.

### 5/5 — Would Definitely Recommend

*2026-04-01*

Flowdays has been really helpful for keeping me consistent and mindful everyday. It’s simple, reliable, and doesn’t feel overwhelming to use. I like how it quietly supports your routine without overcomplicating things. It’s genuinely a useful app that does its job well.

### 5/5 — DEFINITELY SHOULD PURCHASE❗️

*2026-04-01*

Ever since I downloaded this app it’s only been amazing 🤩 One thing I’ve found extremely helpful is the guidance on menstrual rulings according to Fiqh. It explains things clearly, which is so useful because these rulings can sometimes get confusing, especially with irregular cycles. Having that clarity in one app takes away a lot of stress.

Overall, it’s a really thoughtful and practical app that supports both your daily routine and your understanding of important matters. Definitely worth getting!

### 5/5 — Worth every penny!

*2026-04-01*

I’m so impressed with this app the amount of features you get are insane it is definitely worth the money. This was so needed for Muslim women I’m very excited to use it.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.1 — 2026-09-30

Fixes a bug that could mark a period as istihadah after a spotting day, so your status is correct again. Also fixes the Qibla compass calibration message and adds the early blood dot to the calendar key.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-09-29

flowdays 2.0 is our biggest update yet.

Your day in one sentence. Home now opens with one line that tells you where you stand today for prayer and fasting. Tap it to see why.

A new My cycle tab. Your phases, your patterns and your next period, all in one place.

Learn, rebuilt. New articles by Ustad Abas Arshad on hayd, tuhr, istihadah and ghusl, opened straight from your ruling.

Your husband sees what you see. His Home now shows the same card as yours. You choose what he can see.

Quicker logging. Tap Bleeding stopped on any day, set the time, and flowdays tells you when ghusl is due.

Also new: a tick on every prayer you pray, a fresh Qibla Finder, bigger text across the app and a short tour on your first visit.

Something doesn't feel right? Tap "This doesn't feel right" on your card and we'll look at it with you.

We also fixed a number of ruling and prediction edge cases. JazakAllah khair for all your messages. Keep them coming.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-09-02

Reminders now work properly on iPhone. If you turned them on and never heard from us, that was a bug on our side and it is fixed.

Already have an account? You can now sign in from the welcome screen or the subscription screen, so moving to a new phone means picking up where you left off.

The subscription screen is now one simple page, with the plans and your free trial details in plain view.

We also went through the app and tidied up the wording.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-20

This update makes flowdays easier to start and gentler to trust:

• Explore first, decide later — you can now see your personalised rulings and subscribe before creating an account. Your history moves safely into your account whenever you make one.
• New "Start here" guide — a gentle spotlight shows you the getting-started checklist on your first visit.
• Log your daily energy from the checklist and watch your cycle patterns take shape.
• "I'm not sure yet" option when logging past periods — no more being stuck on a date you can't remember.
• A quiet banner now lets you know if a billing hiccup ever needs your attention, so access never just disappears.
• Fixes: sheet buttons hidden behind the navigation bar, notification permission timing, and importing real Flo export files.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-21

A smoother, more reliable flowdays:
• Fixed a crash that could happen when opening the app from a home-screen widget
• Purchases now complete properly on slower connections and pending payments
• Smoother subscription activation and restore
• Gentle reminders so your trial never catches you by surprise
• Small fixes and polish throughout
