Not ready for a projector? Flowly is a camera based tracing tool that comes with choices of free fonts and shapes for your drawing.

How to draw
- Put your mobile device on a tall glass with camera lens facing down.
- Place your canvas underneath the camera lens.
- Trace the image while looking through the camera view.
- The app doesn’t physically project images onto the surface because a mobile device doesn’t have the capability to do so.

This company charged $498 for a monthly subscription.  Now my card is turned off and my account is minus $498.

**Developer response:** Please don't spread false information. The monthly subscription is $3.99 instead of $498.

I have loved the Flowly app ever since I started using it a couple years ago. It has basically every functionality I need for my cookie decorating “word” needs, except that it cannot flip the text. I use the app with my projector and therefore the image comes out flipped. I would be willing to pay for pro if that were an option, but considering so many lesser designed apps already have this function for free, I don’t use Flowly as much as I would.

This doesn’t really project onto the object you want to write on. So your hand or all shadows makes it difficult to use since the letters are not actually projected onto the surface it’s just in the screen of your cell.
